"WE GO ON IN 10 MINUTES! WHERE IS SHE?" Namjoon tried to yell over the loud music coming from the stage. Staff were busy trying to get the boys' makeup together. Ten minutes. Five minutes to go for their fucking debut and she was playing Casper the Ghost. Frantically, for the seventh time this hour, he took out his phone and dialed her phone. Straight to voicemail.
"Hey! It's Jamie—" Choruses of Taehyung's laughter sounded off behind her, "Hey! Stop!" She complained through laughter, "I can't get to the phone right now! I'll probably answer soon!" He met eyes with Jin as hopelessness floated in both of them. What the hell were they going to do? The dance would look so sloppy and out of place with her gone, and her parts, who would do them? Both Jin and Namjoon think the same — if they don't find her soon, it's over.
"Hyungs!" Jungkook is sprinting down the hallway, sweat beads painted on his forehead, slicking his curled black hair. Namjoon is able to grab him before he goes slamming into a table. "Jungkook, what happened, what's going on?"
The boy struggled to find the air in his lungs, "I found her—s-she's in the girl's bathroom," He said with a wince.
Jin gave him a judging glance. "You went into the girls bathroom? You perv!"
Jungkook threw up his hands in anguish. "Desperate times call for desperate methods, hyung!"
Namjoon couldn't focus on anything, none of this made sense. A steady hand grabbed him and tried to pull him back but it's not enough. His eyes searched through his hyung's but his voice sounded away, too away. Everything was crashing and burning and he didn't know what to do. What was he suppose to do? This was all his fault. He should have done better. Been a better leader. Been a better friend. But Jin grabs him, he doesn't allow him to fall deeper into mind, into his thoughts. Jin holds his face in his hands, forcing him to look at him and him only. Jin hooks him back to earth and holds him so tightly he has no choice but to stay.
