THE AIR AROUND her got colder as the days passed. Each day she took the train to get into the snowy city of Seoul, then rode the long bus to BigHit Entertainment. Everyday she would give the staff members nice smiles before she would practice. Her muscles would ache and her legs would feel like they were about to fall off, but she kept dancing, making sure her steps were perfect and polished.
She doesn't notice the hours go by, or how thirsty her throat is, and she certainly doesn't notice the curious eyes looking over her.
The ending of SHINEE's Sherlock goes through one more time and this is when her body decided to collapse. Hot, it's too hot, and it's toohard to breathe. Water is the only thing on her mind as she dragged her body to her bag. She searched clumsily, throwing objects around the room as she searched for her savior.
"I swear to god, I'm going to die, where is it," she whined to herself. She remembered the exact conversation she had with her aunt —
"Don't forget your water, Mimi!" The woman shouted from the kitchen. Jamie doesn't even look, a scoff coming from her lips as she walked straight towards the door.
"I won't, imo! Bye bye!" She called out. The forgotten water bottle on the table stared at her sadly.
She slapped her forehead. She had never lost or forgotten anything once a day in her life. How stupid, now she couldn't breathe and was waterless. This was just great. Jamie pouted as she thought of any alternatives. She looked through her bag and saw her dirty socks — if she was just that desperate she could always have that. She laughed at her own thought before closing the bag.
The door behind her opened and grabbed her attention.
She saw a young boy with dark brown hair. In his hand was a cold water bottle. He gave her a shy smile. She quickly stood up and bowed but he shook his head. "Ani, you don't have to, here, I saw you in here and I thought you needed this."
