Chapter IV

Archie's POV

I reached my home after a long busy day,I brought some pastries on my way back home because I knew that Alif must be frowning alone,she hates to be alone,I chuckled thinking about my little sister.

I kept the the pastries in the fridge and straight went to Alif's room.

I don't know why but the house was feeling strangely cold,and to be honest I wasn't liking the strange vibes it was radiating.

I softly knocked the room's door but received no answer, "hey rat open the door,look I am sorry for leaving you alone for the whole day, pleaseee talk to mere, I brought some pastries for you let's have them" I said in a requesting cute tone,but again recived no response.

Now I was worried, "okay since you are ignoring me I am coming in myself" saying this I twisted the door knob and entered the room and to my surprise I found it empty.

I quickly took my cell out of my pocket and called her and heard her ringtone ringing, "oh she must be in the study" I sighed relived and made my way towards the study,

I was going to the study but something caught my eye and made my body shivered,

It was her phone,on floor with a shattered screen and a napkin.

I picked up the broken phone and the white satin napkin and saw that something is scribbled on it,

I open the napkin folds and read the  sentence scribbled dirtly with red ink.

"Time to pay back"

 
My eyes widened in shock,as if they are gonna pop out of my sockets,

 "Bloodyshit how is he still alive,how dare he kidnapp my sister" I screamed throwing and smashing the things near me like a manic

I heard my cell ring,I took out the phone from my pocket to answer it but seeing the caller's ID suddenly made my hands sweaty,it was his number,the number he saved in my phone four years ago by
