A few hours later
I get to my 4th-hour class and see my best friend Vashten, we sit down, and I pull out my weather book that I am oh so overly obsessed with when I see a weather notification on my phone from MMN, so I open it
"Oohhhh" Vash said reading over my shoulder
"What? You know I would die if I didn't read it." I read it then put my phone away and open my book and when I look up I see Ahmad Bajjey, aka THE Chief Meteorologist at MMN.
"Hello everyone, I'm Ahmad Bajjey, the Chief Meteorologist at MMN"
I look at Vashten with an 'I know' and 'I love him and you know it' look.
"It's your crushhhhhhh" He poked fun at me as a playfully glared at him
Ahmad starts talking about the weather, and a little later I could tell only I could understand it
"English please Dana?" My friend Josh asked and nod
"How severe thunderstorms form."
"Any questions?" Ahmad asked and josh raised his hand
"I have many of them since I wasn't paying attention."
"Jj I can explain it to you later." I say not wanting Ahmad to have waste more time
"Are you sure??"
"She's positive, she knows a lot about weather." Vashten turned to Ahmad and nodded, before I nod.
"And let's ignore that you got me into it.." I mutter quietly so only Vashten could hear me
"How many more classes left??" Josh complained to Vashten and me.
"Check your schedule Josh." Vashten says and I laugh.
"We have one more Josh, I have choir" I say as we walk to our class
"Shoot I forgot my weather book in Science be right back."
I run back to get my book. "Thanks for the lesson Mr. Bajjey, also I'll be watching at 5 and 6."
"You know you can call Ahmad right?"
"But Mr. Bajjey is more formal." I say and walk off back to my class
I turn to Vashten and just, looked amazed.
"Soo.."
"I told Ahmad that I would be watching him at the 5 show."
"Now he knows he has a fann."
"S-Shut up!"
Timeskip
I get home and work on some weather stuff until 5, then, I turn on MMN and let my eyes sparkle and sparkle hard. I wish I could work with them, they made who I was and love everything in journalism and news.
"I went to (school name which will be private cause of obvious reasons) and talked to (teacher name, which is the same as school name) class, they had some, interesting questions..?"
I giggle. "Especially Joshua... 'can you go over it again'?"
"I also met a fan! So if your watching this, and I know you are, so, hey! If not, I have a feeling you'll be watching this back, so, uh, still hey!" He chuckles. "Anyway, here is what's happening outside right now!"
