They're ship was hurtling through unknown space. The rift had taken them into a sector that no one had even mapped. Is was off the grid. Waaayy off. But the Predacon commander, Megatron, had a plan. There was a planet below. If the ship could be piloted near a volcanic rock island in the midst of a molten, magma lake, they would be safe and have some added protection from the Maximals. But how.
The Predacon ship rammed the Maximals. It knocked them off course just as the planet's gravity pulled them in. The Maximals veered of into a river and the Predacons stayed On course for the magma lake. When the landed, everything changed.
