The Cyberella

In a kingdom few years from now, there lived a prince and a peaceful state. Everything was in peace and harmony.

The prince would play games over the LAN with his royal subjects, but no one would dare win against him. This slowly ruined the prince's  experience.

He hired a developer who'd create AI to compete with him. The AI was so powerful, it actually defeated the Prince.

The Prince was enjoying the game and there was word around the street how a simple algorithm by a feeble developer defeated the mighty Prince.

Upset with this, the king ordered the developer to be hanged and got the AI destroyed and replaced with simpler algorithms that cannot defeat the Prince.

Once again, the Prince was getting bored. The Prince ordered in the kingdom for anyone to come forward and challenge him. But fearing the actions of the king, nobody dared to come forward.

Frustrated with this, the Prince decided to fake his identity and enter the kingdom as a nobody.

His identity was so well concealed that nobody could recognise him.
He roamed through the streets searching for game zones.

Finally he came accross one shady gaming zone. The Royal Prince did not hesitate to enter the lowly structure. He sat next to the strangers and used the system. He engaged in many games. Nobody stood a chance against him, but this was different than the Royal subjects. These people didn't know him here and were putting genuine efforts. The Prince was enjoying the game, when suddenly a new player joined in. She defeated the Prince within moments. With every respawn she'd defeat him almost immediately thus bullying him in the game. Frustrated with this, he thought this might be some hacker and called that out. The Gaming Zone owner proudly said that hacking is impossibile on his servers.

People laughed around. Embarrassed by this, the Prince walked to the player, deciding to do the reveal and offer a job at the kingdom as an opponent. It was getting dark. The clock struck 12, the player started to leave hurriedly. The prince followed and tried to catch the hoodie. The face hidden in the hoodie was half revealed. The Prince was stunned by those beautiful blue eyes and rosy cheeks. The silky hair just caught his attention and made him still for a few moments.

When he came back to his senses, he happened to see down.
No shoe was left behind as she was wearing sneakers.

However, the Prince saw a Pendrive left behind.

He quickly grabbed it and moved to the castle.

The Prince couldn't forget her face but also surprisingly he couldn't remember it enough to describe to his soldiers who'd search her for him. All he could tell them was that she had eyes, cheeks and hair. The soldiers still agreed to initiate search based on just this info because who'd get hung for no reason. Many said that what they agreed for was like searching for needle in the hay stack with binoculars from a distance. Only they knew it was like searching for a drop of water in ocean.

The Prince declared that he'd find her and marry her. (As if she'd say yes; as if the Prince planned on asking) (facepalm)

The Prince wasn't really from a technical background and all he knew was how to play games. Inspired by the traditional Cindrella story, he came up with a solution of his own. He decided to plug the pendrive in all the systems in the Kingdom and whichever system it fits, owner of that system shall be the one.

There was awkward silence in the Royal room.

It lasted about 2 minutes. Even the birds didn't chirp. The insects didn't make any noise.

The Royal Cyber Security Specialist rose and objected that this would be serious threat to security of the entire Kingdom. The Pendrive could contain virus and it better be checked by the Cyber Security team.

Once again people started talking about how the Prince was accused of threatening the security of the kingdom and how the specialist declared that the to-be-princess was an attacker. More than that, the specialist had objected a royal decision. The Prince gor furious over this and sentenced the only Specialist in the kingdom to Guillotine.

Scared to object the decision of the Prince, the Royal subjects agreed to the Prince's solution.

The Prince begun his hunt.

He tried to connect the pendrive to the first computer.

Voilà

It connected. Smoothly.

The Prince was shocked. The Royal subjects were annoyed that they had to pretend to be shocked. The owner of the system also started pretending to be shocked as the guard behind the Prince was signalling her to act along while pointing a gun at her.

The Prince however knew that she isn't the one. As she wasn't wearing the hoodie.

One of the Royal subjects argued, "What if she had changed the clothes?"

Once again there was awkward silence.

"You clearly haven't read enough stories", said the Prince before he sentenced him to Guillotine.

Prince tried the pendrive on multiple systems and all connected but nothing felt good.

One of the Royal subject pointed out the page in the story where the shoe glowed when it fit.

The Prince declared that when the Pendrive glows, that will be the one.

Impressed with the Royal guard, the Prince gifted him a Wagon for his Folks with 49 horse power.

The Prince continued the search till all the systems in the kingdom were accomplished.

Furious over the wrong information provided by the subject, the Prince took back the wagon and sentenced him to Guillotine.

All the systems in the kingdom were now infected with the virus. The entire network of the kingdom came to a standstill. All the data was locked and the hacker practically owned them.

The hoodie girl returned. She is actually the Princess of the neighbouring kingdom who wanted to expand her reign.

She ordered all the citizens to surrender if they wished to not lose their data and bank details.

All the citizens surrendered without thinking twice.

The King was taken away as a slave. The Prince was cuffed with the prisoner chains and taken to the secret prison.

The room consisted of a system where the Prince would play only with the Princess.

The Princess finally had some worthy opponent to compete with so she could stop executing her Royal subjects who'd deliberately lose against her.

And so, the Prince and the Princess just lived ever after, happily or not, isn't really the point.
