I quietly opened the front door hoping it wouldn't creek. I tiptoed upstairs to my bedroom and took off my heels and went straight to bed. I looked like a wrech, but whatever. I'm just so glad no one caught me this time.
I heard someone creak open the door so I decided to look over towards the door and it was my Dad. "Get up Rebecca! Time for breakfast!" "Ugh" I moaned. So I quickly put on sweatpants and a tee-shirt so they wouldn't see me in my party clothes. I was still very tired from last night so I sluggishly walked down the stairs to the kitchen.
My mom was sitting at the table listening to the news on the TV. I hope they didn't figure out that I went to a party last night. I sat down at where I saw pancakes ready for me to eat when I saw my mom move her head towards me looking straight at me. Uh oh this was bad.
"Good morning Rebecca. Where were you last night? I tried calling you and you didn't pick up? And I didn't hear you come in the house last night either." My mom questioned. "Oh I was um.....at Maddie's house doing......a project for......chemistry." "Really?" Mom said. " Yea totally." " You better tell me where your going next time or your going to get into huge trouble." She demanded. "Whatever." In my head I was like no way was I going to tell them that I was going to a party.
That was close. I hope I was convincing to her and now I need to make a list of reasons to leave the house. This was boring so I quickly chowed down my breakfest so I could go in my room. Not like there was anything else better to do and started thinking about reasons. "Maybe I could say I have a project to do with Maddie, or I'm going to the movies with Maddie." Whatever. This was getting booorrring!
I went to look on my phone only to see texts from Britney trash talking about me. "Ugh! Where are the pills Maddie gave me last night?" I looked in my jacket, it wasn't there. Was it in my purse, "Ha Ha! Found it. How much should I take this time? Two, three or four." I'll just poor some out. Not like anyone is going to care.
