They stared at each other, Everett relaxed on the floor, books cluttered around and on top of him, a small smile laid out on his face and hand stretched out awaiting for the others hand to join his in a shaking.

The boy, to Everetts confusion, was still in shock, as if he wasn't the one who was intruding into Everetts home, then Everett took a moment to think about it, and decided the boy wasn't intruding, it wasn't his fault for being forgotten and unwanted, he couldn't help that he was unwanted, so Everett decided not to hold the boys trespassing against him.

Without warning, the boy, Everett was getting so tired of calling him that for he looked about the same age, jumped back, his whole body tensed up.

This confused Everett the more, "It's just a hand, nothing to be afraid of, unless you're afraid of hands, I won't hold that against you, hands can be quite scary, especially covered in blood"

"I- what?"

"Hands" Everett answered him back, as if it made perfect sense, and to Everett it did.

The boy, nodded, stopped, and furrowed his brow "What about hands?"

"Your scared of them" His arm was starting to shake with discomfort, so with a small mumble of stupid understandable fears, he set it back down. He realized the boy looked like a bat, hanging upside down from the ceiling-floor, and that he was rather pretty looking, but then again Everett has not seen another person in so long that he might just be telling himself that to feel better.

"no, I'm not"

Everett, finally getting tired for looking at the pretty boy upside down, stood up, quite proud in the fact that he was taller than him.

"Your not?"

"n-no?"

Everett stuck his hand out, "The names, Everett Caspian Silas, at least I believe it too be"
