CHAPTER SEVEN

The semester ended with the match of the year. Everyone felt relieved that their exams had ended and they could finally go back home. Jungkook went back to Busan.
After few months new session started. In these months Jungkook moved on and became friends with Taehyung. Since Kookie did not want to lose Hyorin’s friendship, it was easier for him to befriend a nice guy like Taehyung.
Jimin: Guys are you excited for this?
Hyorin: Excited for what?
Jimin: New girls and boys……
Hyorin: But you are already dating Lisa….
Jimin: Yaa… Not for me, for you girl.
Hyorin: Yaaahhhh…. I don’t want people to call me Hyorin the pedophile.
Hearing this everyone started laughing. Then Jungkook, Jimin, Hyorin and Lisa went to the junior section for introduction …
Jimin: Annyeonghaseyo. We are your seonbaes. I’m Jimin. This is Jungkook and they are Lisa and Hyorin.
Jimin welcomed the juniors warmly. Jungkook wasn’t quite paying attention. He was busy on his phone. Jimin was constantly calling students randomly. Next, he called a girl and she came up to the stage….
Girl: Annyeonghaseyo. I am Song Shirin. My parents work in a company in Busan. My hobbies are dancing and painting. Nice to meet you all. Thank you.

This time Jungkook did pay attention. Was it because he was too bored while looking at his phone…or was it because of the new girl????
Soon all the students gave their introduction and the seniors left. Jungkook went up to Jimin as soon as the girls left.
Jimin: Yes…bro…do you need some help?
Jungkook: What?......I haven’t even told you what this is about.
Jimin: But I’m an expert in this field.
Jungkook: You know right…which girl I’m talking about?
Jimin: Yeah man… Shirin…. right?
Jungkook (scratching his neck): Uhm… yes…. I guess….
Jimin: Don’t worry man. I’ll tell the whole junior section not to propose her.
Jungkook: NO WAY……. Are you mad? Don’t do that…. Just set up a meeting with her anyhow.
Jimin: Relax dude…... I was just kidding.

 RECESS….
Lisa: Guys where is Jimin?
Hyorin: Speak of the devil and the devil arrives…...
Taehyung: Who is the girl beside him?
Hoseok: Umm…is she a new student by chance?
Jimin: Hi guys… meet our new member…. Shirin…. Song Shirin.
Shirin: Annyeonghaseyo seonbaenim.
Jimin: Well, this my new friend. I hope you guys don’t mind her joining this group….
Hyorin: Not at all. Come Shirin sit with us.
Shirin: Thank you Seonbae.
All of them started talking to her and they soon became friends. Shirin was a fun-loving girl and everyone was enjoying her company…. especially Jungkook…Lisa soon enough noticed this and said….
Lisa: Love is in the air (looking at Jungkook). The reaction she got was quite unexpected. Taehyung, Jenni, Hoseok and Hyorin all choked on their food.
Lisa: OH MY GOD……
Jimin: Baby no comments on this we all know what’s going on…...
Shirin was new to this group and couldn’t quite understand what was going on. So, she decided to break the awkwardness and said….
Shirin: Umm…. seonbaenim…. Actually, I needed some help for my assignment. Will you help me…. please seonbae?
Jungkook thought that this was his opportunity, but Hyorin, unknowing of what was actually happening…suddenly said…
Hyorin: Obviously I’ll help you.
Shirin: Thank You seonbae.
They went to the library.
Jimin: Jungkook…. I’m so sorry but our best friend Hyorin took your future girlfriend.
Jungkook: Yaaah stop it shorty.
Hoseok, Lisa, Jenni and Taehyung: Do you like Shirin?
Seeing everyone’s reaction Jungkook confessed in front of them that he did like her.

Few months passed. They all used to spend time at their usual spot i.e. the cafeteria. Shirin got close to everyone, especially Hyorin. They even told each other about their crush. Even Jungkook told Hyorin about his feelings towards Shirin. She was very happy to hear that.
It was almost time for their college trip so Hyorin thought about setting Kookie up with Shirin….
