"yo just kill me already", you sighed, rolling your eyes as you dropped your head on the table below your.

You were sitting in an empty classroom, trying to cram in 5 minutes of studying before your Math final. You weren't the kind of person who studied for every test, as long as you paid attention in class, you were fine.

But this was your final and there was no way you were failing a test that was worth 50% of your grade. So during the last few minutes of your lunch period, you tried to memorize some formulas before your math final next period.

But even though you already knew basically everything, your anxiety took the best of you and made you worried out of your mind about the test. I mean, you couldn't be the only one worried, right?

After the bell rang, you walked out of the empty classroom, on your way to take this terrible test. And as soon as you go to the door, your anxiety relaxed seeing 30 other kids rush inside, sticking their faces in their books with scared eyes. Hallelujah you wasn't the only one scared.

You walked in and made your way to your seat in the back of the class. You sat down and heard a voice next to you ask, "you ready for this test??".

You turned around and it was your bestie, Mia, looking just as worried as you.

"yea, i think so....you?", you sighed, unsure.

"honestly i don't know, i could either pass or fail so badd", she laughingly sighed.

"same", you agreed before turning back to your desk and reviewing your last bit of notes. But soon the teacher handed out the tests and it was time to begin😔.

"Akaashi, don't set to me anymore", Bokuto pouted, while looking down at the gym floor.

Akaashi ignored him and started to set the ball again, giving him another chance to spike it. But Bokuto missed it and instantly fell into a sad mood swing, walking himself to the bench.

All week in practice, he had been off his game, he just couldn't seem to hit the ball. This made him practice even more at home, but that just ended up wearing him out.

He honestly didn't know what to do anymore. He felt like he was letting his team down, especially while being their captain. 'Isn't he suppose to be the best of all of them?', he thought. Because right now, he felt like the worst.

He was slipping into his emo mode, more and more everyday, his team was starting to worry about him. But they didn't know how to fix it, in these situations, it was hard to bring Bokuto back to his shining personality. They would just have to wait it out and hope for a sudden burst of confidence.

But right now, the only thing that could bring him back, was being able to feel that pressure from the ball on his hand and seeing it forcefully hit the ground on the other side. Hearing the loud boom of the ball as it makes contact with the ground below it. So much force that it almost seems like you can see a tornado of air blow out from under it. He needed to feel it, he needed to hear it, he needed to see that again. It had been so long.

And his desire for that, made him get up to try again once more. Willing to try and fail, over and over again until that glorious moment happened.
