"Y/n, I know you don't believe it, but this has to be real... I know it sounds like some crazy dream that people who are suppose to be fictional characters from different worlds, are meeting each other, but I know you can feel it..", he pleaded, searching for your eyes to see if you believe too.
But your eyes just stared forward, forward at the new world he created, still not sure what to believe. Especially when there was no real way to prove it.
"I just can't Bokuto, there's no way to prove that this is real, no matter how much I want it to be", you sighed, still not making eye contact.
It's not that you didn't want this dream to be real, because honestly, this has been something that you had wished for since his first appearance on screen. But knowing that it would never come true, that these characters weren't real... it always pulled you back down to earth. Allowed you to never get caught in too deep.
But now, as you are presented with the idea that the dream you always wanted to come true, has finally become a reality. You didn't know what to do....
"Y/n, look at me", he pleaded, grabbing your hand, making you look towards him with shocked eyes. And with the warmth of his hand on yours, he said with helpless eyes;
"Tomorrow I have a practice match with Karasuno... I don't know if it was already said on the show, but I don't think they know about the match yet since Hinata didn't text me".
"If you don't see that on the show, then you can believe it's a dream.... but if you do see it, then you have to accept that it's not", he was determined to make you believe.
You looked at him, questioning yourself. You didn't hear anything in the show about a practice match coming up, so you didn't know what to expect tomorrow. But you made a promise to yourself to not get your hopes up until you watched the show.
"It sounds crazy, but.... I'll wait till tomorrow before I accept this 'so called' reality or reject this dream.", you sternly said.
"Deal", he said excitedly with a huge smile. In which you rolled your eyes playfully.
"Soooo, what's my show called?", he asked excitedly, raising his eyebrows at you.
"Haikyuu", you said, playfully rolling your eyes at his energetic personality.
"Do you wanna know yours?", he asked, being curious for you.
"Sure, i guess", you said.
"To All the People I Loved Before", he said.
"Hmm", you said, intrigued by the name.
You guys sat in silence for a little while, looking at the sunset before you. It had almost fully set below the horizon. And once it did, the sky turned dark... stars appeared and all you could think was that 'they were beautiful like diamonds in the sky'.
