Moon [ Wangxian Modern AU ]

Chapter 10

     Confessions aren't easy but they didn't want to miss pend any more time. Both liked eachother and wished to spend their remaining lives in the company of the other and now they are.

     Their jobs keep them busy a lot  but they still made every possible effort to see each other and if some days that wasn't possible, a simple text would fill in the missing gap, giving both of them the calamity need in their hectic schedules.

     Wei ying these days had enough time on his hands to spend with lan zhan but the same couldn't be said for the latter. Some days a doctor can't even come home but wei ying understands and patiently waits for him. When lan zhan does come home after a long day (s) at work wei ying is more than happy to take care of him. He knows lan zhan would ignore himself which makes him secretly happy as taking care of lan zhan gives him a feeling of content.

   Lan Zhan is thankful for the care and longs to do the same for wei ying  but he assures him that he's the happiest when he gets to taste lan zhan's cooking and that's enough . Lan Zhan feels fortunate and ecstatic on how the  food he prepares can make a beaming smile appear on his lover's face . Patiently waiting  for him to come back just so he could hug him is one of wei yings favourite things to do. Waiting doesn't hurt if it means getting to see the one he loves. All of lan zhan's exhaustion dissappears with a single hug from behind as he takes his coat off . Even after  a long and tiring day he couldn't sleep  but now with Wei Ying next to him, he's had many peaceful nights. Lan Zhan feels protected and safe now that he's with wei ying and the same can be said for the latter .

    Being with each other, their bodies pressed together is the a wonderful feeling and they couldn't yearn for anything else. Two pair of  gorgeous eyes filled with love for one another is truly a lovely sight. Lan Zhan feels the happiest and contented when with Wei Ying. His life before  wasn't sombre or depressing , he loved his job but always  felt there was something or someone missing . He now knows it was someone with the name wei ying and he doesn't need missing cause he's already his.

    In a dark room, under the covers Lan Zhan was still  the reflection of the moon. Pure and magnificent . Just being able to look at him everyday was enough. Wei Ying couldn't ask for anything more but to see him everyday even has a friend but his suppressed desires were fulfilled when he came to know his feelings ha d a chance of being reciprocated. He was over the moon.

  Wei Ying's life was all about work. It was something he enjoyed and was good at it  but there was this huge void in his heart which longed to be filled, especially after spending more than 20 years alone, his heart ached for love. Now lan zhan fills all these empty places and heals all his aching wounds with such gentleness and purity that one could happily allow himself to drown in them.

   Being with each other they were happy, they were glad to be alive in the same life time.
