Time stopped for Lan Zhan and it seemed his breathing did to at that very moment when Wei Ying was pronounced dead. His mind was clouded with emotions he was unable to express. Lan Zhan just stood there looking at Wei Ying's face through the glass window of the hospital room as the green line on the monitor became straight. It was the confirmation that he could no longer be saved.
Lan Zhan wasn't crying, it hadn't hit him until the Doctor spoke " Time of Death : 25th April, 12:29 AM ". That's when tears started to emerge from his eyes, gracefully falling down on his cheeks. Wei ying would find even his tears beautiful.
Lan Zhan couldn't do anything for the perosn he cherished so much. He just had to watch as his fellow doctors were at work.
Imagine saving the whole world but not being able to save the one you love. Lan sobbed after a really long time standing beside his lover's body through which life no longer flowed.
Still in denial he softly asked for Wei Ying to wake up and when he realised he wasn't, he raised his voice. Lan Zhan screamed which sounded more like cries , pleadeding his lover to open his eyes for him. He told him, he made his favourite meal. Who's going to eat it now? How can he eat it all by him self. How can I be peace without you by my side.
He cried holding his wei ying's body one last time, begging him to not leave him alone as they put the white sheet over his face which even without life still looked ethereal , and took him away. Before they existed the room Lan Zhan softly grabbed the pendant that hanged from his Wei Ying's neck and placed it where is own heart was.
Wei Ying had gone to to Moon that rested in the faraway blackend sky but his heart stayed in the moon that now hanged around Lan Zhan's neck.
Always there.THE END.
A/N : Well this ended rather quickly than I expected it too. The writing is trash but maybe I'll make some changes to it in the future.
