Pakhi's POV
I am currently sitting in my car outside my house I still can't forget his anger and his hold on my wrist my wrist is now sore and purple and it's hurting like hell.
"I can't tell maa papa about that incident, they are already tensed" I thought to myself and got out of my car....
As I entered my house maa came running to me and said "Beta where were you?, I want to talk to you," she said smiling "Go and freshen up I'll make some tea." She said and I nodded, I went to my room and started changing my clothes. I wore my pyajamas and a full sleeves t-shirt as I don't want anyone to see my bruised wrist, I like wearing comfortable clothes especially when I am home....
When I went downstairs I saw my maa sitting on the sofa she was having a cup of tea, she saw me coming and said "Come Pakhi sit beside me and have some tea," as I sat down beside her "What do you want to talk about maa" I asked sipping my tea....
"Pakhi you know how much your papa and I love you both right?" She asked caressing my cheeks softly...
"Yes maa I know, but what happened?" I asked, "Pakhi you know your papa's business is not going well" she said getting sad "You are about to graduate from your college" she continued and I nodded...
"We have decided something," she said hesitately "And what is that?" I asked
"You remember Aastha aunty?" She asked and suddenly I remember her, I was maybe 8 years old when I first saw her she is maa's best friend since childhood but I only saw her once after that I never met her.
"Yes maa I remember her, why what happened?" I asked her "You see I just met her few days ago and she was asking about you," maa said "She came here and wanted to meet you but you were not home at that time" maa continued I nodded again asking her to go on...
"Beta we don't know what will future bring us but we want you to settle down, she has a son and when she saw your picture she said she wants to change our friendship into a relationship" maa said and I sat there shocked "Me and your papa also want this please beta meet him once" she pleaded..
"Maa what are you saying?, we didn't even see her for so many years how can you suddenly accept her propsal?" I asked maa "Beta we were in touch but due to some reasons we lost touch two years ago" maa said "But maa why? this is too early I know you are tensed about money and our future but I will work very hard maa". I said getting emotional...
"Beta please try to understand your papa wants you to settle down as soon as possible" maa said with teary eyes "We are not saying you to marry right now atleast meet him once and then decide if he is good for you or not" maa said and I was in tears too.
I know I wanted to open my own cafe but I can't make them sad if they want me to meet him then I will, it would do no harm to meet him once...
"Okay maa I'll meet him but please don't cry" I said wiping her tears and hugged her tightly...
Marriage is a big thing I don't know what will future bring for me but everything will be fine....
