Forbidden Destiny

Chapter 4

"Don't look for me. I'll be with you when you needed me" he said while helding my hand. I can feel how warm his hands are, it's comforting---I don't wan't to let go of it.

"Ahmm..." I started, I was about to ask his name when he let go of my hand and said "I'll be going, see you around"

"Wait! Don't go, who are you?" I shouted, but it looks like he didn't even heared a word I say. Kailan ko kaya sya makakausap. My heart is being taken by someone who I don't know. Am I insane?

I've been seeing him in my dreams for quite sometime now, but I still don't know who he was or what does my dream means. My meaning ba 'to? O sadyang napaparami lang ako ng nuod ng mga romantic animes kaya ganito?

Hindi ko na alam kung paano ko ba ieexplain ang nangyayari sa'kin. I think I'm falling for someone I don't know, and what's worst is that he doesn't even exist in reality, or does he?

What if I'll be given that chance to be with him? Will I take it? Knowing myself, I will never take that chance knowing that I might loose to it. Ayokong umasa sa isang chance na mas malabo pa sa pinag halong tubig sa estero ng Metro Manila at ilog Pasig. Ayokong matalo sa isang larong ako mismo ang bumuo. Ayokong umasa sa wala, ayoko!

"SAI!!" She shouted.

"What?!" I responded in shock. Itong si Theresa talaga kahit kailan nakakaloka.

"Lunch? Mcdo?" She asked smiling from one ear to another. Knowing her, for sure gusto nya lang kumain ng icecream kaya sya nag aaya mag Mcdo.

"Yah! Sure. Just need to tell Erick that I'm not joining them for lunch". I was about to make my step to look for them when Tere stopped me.

"Who's Erick? Boyfriend mo?" She asked with one eyebrow raised.

"What?! Boyfriend? Don't be silly. You know that I have a boyfriend." Yes, I have a boyfriend but he never writes nor text nor chat nor left a message on my fb. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung nasaan sya e.

"Boyfriend? Boyfriend your face. Jc---that no good boyfriend of yours. Ni hindi nga sya makaalalang mag text sayo e. Huwag ka nga mag paka martyr sa gagong yun" Yah, I might be a martyr but what can I do I'm madly inlove with him. Pero nasaan na nga ba sya?

"Tere, maya ka na kumuda please. May ma-mcdo ba tayo sesermunan mo lang ako?" I said to divert the conversation.

"Ofcourse Mcdo" She replied.

"Ayan ha! Dahil gusto mo mag mcdo mag sasabi muna ako sa kanila a." I said while pointing my fingers to the direction where Erick and the rest of the team is.

"Ok"

"Guys, hindi ako makakasabay ng lunch. May makulit kasing nag ayang pumunta Mcdo. Next time na lang ha?"

"Wala! Lalaki 'yan no? Date?" Pabirong banat ni Erick.

"No, kasama ko bestfriend ko" depensa ko.

"Weh?!" Koro nilang sagot. Bakit hindi ba ako pwedeng mag ka-bestfriend.

Napapakamot ulo na ako sa sabobrang kulit ng mga batchmates ko ng biglang "I'm Maria Theresa. Sai's bestfriend" I saw Tere's right hand reaching towards Erick.

And for the first time, natameme si Erick. Ni hindi sya nakasabat. Ni hindi nga nya maabot ang kamay ni Theresa. Tsk! Is this what they call love at first sight? Hahaha ang korny.
