Forbidden Destiny

Chapter 3

He smiled at me na para bang expected nya na ang magiging sagot ko. Ito talaga minsan ang nakakaurat sa mga lalaki, once they knew how their charm works they will already assume the outcome of whatever their doing. Take Erick for an example, for sure alam na nya how carismatic he is kapag ngumingiti, and for sure ngayon alam nyo na rin how weak I am sa mga ganyang bagay.

I look at him one more time before I face my monitor. Oo na, gwapo na s'ya enough.

An hour has passed with only ear wreaking silence is around ng biglang tumawa ng pag kalakas lakas si Erick. Shit! What the? Is he out of his mind. I looked to his direction with my curious face in display. "Shit!" I almost run when I saw who he is laughing with. It's him.. the guy in that room---that exact guy who set butterflies in my stomach.

For the second time our eyes meet. I can feel that same feeling again. I wanna know who he is.. I wanna know..

"Oi guys, mag kakilala ba kayo?" A curious question from Erick caught my attention, cause I want to ask the same thing. Do we know each other?

I stared at him, waiting for him to respond. His emotionless black eyes reveal nothing. I can't see through him.

My sight lowered down to his lips, I saw it partialy parting. Damn! What's with me, "Sai don't look" I keep on telling myself. Pero wala, daig ko pa ang na hypnotize sa pag kakatulala. His lips now are starting to open "Hi! I'm Jarred" he said.

I totally lost myself there. "I'm Sai" I replied. It took me like a minute or two before I was able to respond to him. I thought he'll smile at me like what Erick did, but I was wrong. After he shaked my hand he look away. Wow! Suplado type.

More hours passed by when finally our supervisor came. She wanted us to introduce ourselves; our names and motto in life. Hahaha. Yah! Motto in life? So highschool-ish. Hahaha

When someone started to introduce himself, napa-focus ako bigla. Para bang gusto kong malaman kung anung klase ng mga tao ang makakasama ko. Everyone seems to have the motto Time is Gold I don't know if they mean it or wala lang silang masabi. Ow well, ako nga isang malupit na Always be yourself lang ang nasabi e. Erick is almost with his introduction, it's now his turn.

All my attention is on him right now. The way he stand, he speaks and the way he delivers these words It is what it is.. What?! Anung klaseng motto in life yun? I was expecting something different.

Everybody was laughing and he laughs with them too. Baka joke lang yun, pero mukhang totoo e. The way he said it, it's like his been living with that principle for so long.
