Now what is love? I already explained in the first chapter that Jesus is Love. But the word love alone is further detailed in Biblical terms. Love "does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends" (1 Cor. 13:4-8a). Love never ends. Ladies that's very important to grasp because a lot of the times we can be so quick to think that a certain guy has a love that never runs out when in reality that's the exact opposite. You must test every spirit (1 John 4) to see if the love a guy gives is in accordance with the scriptures. Is he patient? Is he kind with his words? Does he hate to do wrong and is he willing to endure, believe, and hope on the love that you are planning to share? If not then it is not biblical but worldly.
