Chapter 6- How To Be A Godly Wife

Ladies, in the Bible there are ways for us to become a godly wife. "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything." (Ephesians 5). We have to understand that we are helpmates to our future man. We have to be willing to stand with him through thick and thin. Having a quiet and meek spirit and being gentle with our words of reasoning. (1 Peter 3-1-4). The way that we treat Christ will be related to how we treat our future husbands. That's why it's important to get your relationship with God first before you can prepare to meet your match. Submission is also critical. It's not that the man is looked at like a dictator but rather a leader. Because if you think about it, Christ was the leader of His disciples and they were submissive to His Words. As women we must humble ourselves to get the understanding of what submission is all about. But unfortunately it's not as celebrated and looked at in a good way anymore. Some women think it's just the man being bossy when that's not even the case. It's best to get a godly man who acts in a way that's biblical and as women we must do the same and stand behind him.
