Sorry for not updating a lot, I don't know if you guys like this or not but yeah here's chapter three!
~~~~~~~~
"I mean, this is a date. Isn't it?"
"Uh....yeah I guess in a way, but for a date doesn't the other person know about it?"
"Well whatever! Do you want it to be a date Dean?"
"Cas, what kinda of question is that? Who wouldn't want to date you, I mean you are the popular Cas and I am that one nerd kid Dean!!" Dean was looking at Cas with a longing look in his eyes, almost as to say, 'Cas I want you' but he fought the urge to trap Cas and take him somewhere else so they could make out (not that Dean had ever done that before). But still he couldn't believe that Cas was even on what he considered a date, with him. Dean, the nerd, no one cares about, was on a date with Cas. "Cas, why did you bring me here, I mean other than those bullshit stories of how you 'want to get closer to me' and 'how I seem nice'. Why did you want to start being nice to me know? We are already seniors in high school" Cas sat there for a second looking at Dean straight into the eyes trying to figure out what he was going to say to Dean. "Because Dean, I have had a crush on you for a long time, even before high school but I always pushed back my feelings because I was scared to come out, and I was scared you wouldn't feel the same but I finally got the courage to go on a date with you. Plus it's senior year so I figured it wouldn't matter anyways" Cas looked down at his plate that was emptied of the fries he ordered to try to avoid seeing how Dean was looking at him, but he couldn't help it. Cas looked up to see Dean sitting there with a loss for words. "Dean? Why are you so quiet now?" Cas' face spreaded with worry when Dean just sat there staring at Cas.
"D-did I say something wrong or what, because I don't like this silence, what's going on in that mind?" Dean sat still across from Cas, his mind was racing when he finally answered Cas, "I-I just never would have thought you are the one who was hiding from me, that was always me. A-and how did you even know I would have wanted to go out with you? How did you know that I....um, like men? Let alone how did you know that I liked you?" After Dean finished speaking Cas sat there in silence pondering what he heard Dean say. "I don't know how I knew but I just felt like you were gay like me, although I didn't know you liked me, and to be honest, I'm glad you do and not anyone else."
After Dean and Cas left the restaurant they walked around town having good, vivid conversation with each other. By the time it was 10:30 Dean had forgotten what time it was and Cas was falling more in love with Dean by the minute. Dean looked down at his old worn-out Star Wars watch to see what time it was. "Oh shit! It's already 10:30, we've been walking around for a couple hours Cas, we should probably head home.
"Dean look to his side to see Cas looking down at the ground.
"But Dean, Don't you like this, I mean aren't you having fun?"
"No. No no I am but my parents might worry, I've never stayed out longer than school so I've never had to worry about curfew, so I don't know what time they want me home"
"That's good, then when you get home late you have an excuse for the reason why you are so late, because you never got a curfew!" Cas' eyes were full of hope as he was wishing Dean would stay with him longer. "I'm sorry Cas, I need to get home." Dean saw how sad this made Cas so he decided to just stay out thirty minutes later with Cas "But you know Cas, thirty more minutes never hurt anyone right?" Cas perked up when he heard this. "Yay! So what do you want to do for these wonderful thirty minutes I have been given?"
"Uhhh I don't know, you are the one who is social and knows what the 'cool things to do are!" Cas decided that they should continue walking around for the time they had. Cas took Dean into a short-cut alley that took Dean slowly to his neighborhood. But before Cas let Dean go he stopped him to talk to him. Dean looked at Cas seeing a hint curiosity in Deans eyes wondering what he was about to say. "Dean, I uh, really had fun tonight, I'm glad you gave me a chance" Cas was rocking on his feet as if he was nervous to be talking to Dean. "Thanks Cas, but remember. I'm the one who should be worried right now, I mean you just went on a date with me, me! Why would you go out with me out of all people I mean seriously I'm so boring and uninteresting and-and why? I don't get it I just didn't ever think you had seen me before and that I was jus-" Dean was cut off mid-sentence when Cas pushed him up against the alley wall lightly and kissed him to keep him from rambling on. Dean felt a burst of life when Cas was close to him. He couldn't feel anything but the warmth that came from Cas' lips. Cas was pushing Dean up against the wall when he pulled away, Dean longed for the kiss to last longer. He looked at Cas with a mixture complete shock and happiness. Cas turned around and ran back home with a smirk on his face, leaving Dean standing against the wall trying to keep himself from smiling like an idiot. He failed to do so.
