Though I will try and keep the story mostly cannon, there's still a few changes I introduced for the sake of refining this story. So if you notice any changes and/or mentions of events that did not exactly occur or weren't implied, consider it the result of the following points, though proper explanations will be offered in respective chapters-

1. Harry potter (the child) does not exist in this book because Lily did not have any child.

2. The prophecy about the child defeating Voldemort does not exist and thus Neville cannot be the chosen one either, though there is another prophecy mentioned later on in the story.

3. Voldemort only went after Lily and James Potter because they were both powerful wizards and he wanted them both to fight in the war on his side.

4. Lily was the one to kill Voldemort as the killing curse ricocheted (she did not survive either.)

.Some other important points to consider-

1. The original harry potter universe belongs to JKR. I just own Adhya and the other OCs and the plot line for this fanfiction.

2. Though this is a Severus Snape fanfiction, all of the story plots will not solely revolve around him as the other main and side characters deserve to have equally fair shots at character development as well.

3. The protagonist of this story is a brown witch of Indian and Arabic dissent.

4. However, her ancestry does not play a huge part in the story because it's important for me to write about poc characters as the protagonists without making their whole existence revolve around the hardships their ancestors had to face or just include them purely for token representation.

5. That being said, it's also important to mention that this story will also not be a white washed version of brown culture representation, with little to no character embellishment. So, expect melanin. Lots of it.

6. Yes, there will be characters involved that belong to the LGBTQ+ community and no, their peak character arch will not be about them coming out to their family/friends.

7. No hate of any kind will be tolerated. If you cannot refrain yourself from commenting sh*t about other people just living their life, please get off my page or you will most definitely be blocked. 

Ps: this includes homophobia, racism, sexism, ableism, colorism, etc. directed either towards the characters or the readers.  

8. Yes, you can still criticize my writing and grammatical mistakes through constructive criticism and I greatly appreciate it but keep in mind that I'm a human too so naturally, there will be a few mistakes here and there so please refrain from commenting harshly or from just from being plain rude.

9. Lastly, this story will be from first person perspective however the very first chapter will be from third person's.
