Tournament

Yuriami POV

They called me out to the arena after the mini games and I walked out. My stomach died down luckily.

"Here comes the girl who taking everyone by storm. Its Yuriami Aizawa from the Hero course's class 1-A" Present Mic announced

I stood and watched my opponent.

"Versus. From the Support Course Kai Mano!" Present mic announced

He smirked at me. I stood ready as we was called to start. He ran at me anf i dodged his punch. Suddenly his fist grew and he swung and hit me across the face and i fell down and slide a few feet. I stood up only to get kicked back down.

'His Quirk must have something to do with making his body bigger' I thought

I rolled out the way of a punch and went into Hercules and punched him my eyes widen as his arm just grew bigger. He grabbed my arm and pushed my face through the cement.

"Come on I thought you was supposed to have some powerful quirk?!" He yelled

I teleported out of his grip. I started dodging his attacks. He managed to grab me again and punch me in the chest and pinned me down and repeatedly hit me in my stomach. Blood came spilling out my mouth. I teleported out his grip again but i stayed on the ground shaking and coughing.

"I don't wanna die...i have to keep fighting" i mumbled

I went into Zeus and the sky started to change. Thunder clapped and i put my hand up and a lightning bolt came to my hand and stood up and spit out some blood.

"ngh...you want power?" I said

He smirked more. This is more than just winning at this point. I doubt he won't stop till i am dead. I went to blast him but suddenly Midnight got in my way and i fell into her chest and she wrapped her arms around me.

"Its alright" She whispered

I went back to normal and i let myself lean against her body.

"Kai Mano is disqualified. Yuriami Aizawa is to move on to the next round" Midnight announced.

"What the hell? She didn't land a scratch on me" Kai protested

"Yes but you made her forget about this festival. You wanna know what i heard? She was thinking about staying alive" she said

The whole time she spoke she held me. Like a mother would her child.

"Midnight..." i mumbled

"Its ok now just.get some rest" She said softly

I finally succumbed to the part of me wanting to pass out. The fear of dying if i did is gone.

When I woke up I was in the infirmary. Recovery girl sitting next to me.

"Oh you are awake. Good" She said

I looked at her. She had a sad smile on her face.

"I was able to heal you completely your next match is soon as these two boys finish their arm westle" she explained

I sat up and looked at my body

"He beat you up pretty bad. Your father wanted to run in here to be by you but Present Mic convinced him to stay with him to let me take care of your injuries" she explained

I nodded and got up.

"Thanks for the help. I hope to not have to go through that again" I said

"Well it wasn't your fault you had no idea that boy was gonna go that far but it did scare everyone that you used one of the top gods just to get out alive" She said

I nodded. I left and ran out to the stands.

"....Hey" I said

Everyone turned to me

"you're ok!" Everyone yelled

I smiled "Yea Recovery Girl's quirk is amazing" i said

"At leave you are alive" Iida responded "We saw how scared you was" 

I looked down then looked at the announcer's box. I saw Dad look at the class and i ran to the front and waved then gave him a thumbs up. Present Mic waved back. I smiled then watched as Kirishima won his arm wrestle. I ran down to the bottom to go out for my next fight. I had to fight again Shinsuo from the General studies Course. I walked out to the arena.

"All patched up and back in Action Its Yuriami Aizawa from the Hero Course! Versus Shinso Hitoshi from the General Studies Course what exactly in his quirk?" Present Pic said

I stood ready. They called go and I immediately ran at him.

"So your last battle almost ended in your death?" he asked

I didn't answer. I know he is trying to taunt me. I dodged his punch and flipped and kicked him across the face. I grabbed his shoulders and flipped him over slamming him on his back. I panted as i saw his lower body out of bounds.

"Shinsuo is out of bounds Yuriami wins!" Midnight yelled

I smiled as people cheered for me.

"Why...didn't you answer?" Shinsuo asked

I looked at him he was riled that i didnt answer him so that is most likely how his quirk works.

"..I am not using my quirk just please answer" he said

I sighed

"You was taunting me so i wasn't going to. I gotten used to ignore questions about my dad and why i am here" I said helping him up

"why are you here?" He asked

"...My childhood was not as great as you think you see I only met Aizawa 11 months ago." When i said that he was surprised "My child hood was pretty fucked up. I was beaten as a kid by a couple who adopted me. I was only there for their image. My life was pretty miserable. Honestly was close to comitting Suicide. I had anxiety depression and anorexia. How was I was supposed to deal with that? Then one day i wished that i wasn't there and I was sent back here. I met my real dad and realized i was wanted. Someone wanted me and that has made me so happy. So why am i here? Well because i want to help people and hope that maybe i can stop some from ending up like me. On the outside i am calm but inside my mind is everywhere. And a word of advice. Only you can decide your fate" I smiled and walked away
