Reality

Yuriami pov

Bakugo ended up winning the tournament but the way they gave him the medal was...odd. I ran over to my dad as we were let out. 

"Dad!" I yelled 

I stopped by him and Present Mic. I gasped as he pulled to his chest and held me tight. I hugged him back. 

"It was hard watching him do that to you," He said

"I am Ok dad recovery girl fixed me up good as new," I said with a smile 

"And why did you risk the tournament to save Todoroki?" 

"Because I didn't want him to suffer like me. If I can help I will" 

He nodded and we left. I got a text from Mina that made my blood run cold. Iida's older brother got attacked and is beyond recovery. 

"..Iida.." I said 

I ran off fast and went to the hospital. Dad was yelling for me to slow down but I couldn't. I had to be there for him. I got to the hospital and asked them If I can go see them. After seeing my face they let me. I ran down the hall. Iida was sitting next to his brother on a hospital bed in tears. I couldn't say anything but I knew he just needed someone to hug him. I hugged him tight and he looked shocked before breaking down in sobs. 

"I got you.."I whispered 

He kept crying for his brother as I held him tight. Eventually, his sobs died down and he and his family went home. His mother thanked me for showing up to comfort Iida. I nodded and went home and saw my dad sitting at the table with no bandages. 

"oh, recovery girl fixed you up?" I asked 

"Yea," He said, "so where did you run off to?" 

"...Iida's brother is in the hospital" 

"I see you were there for support" 

I nodded "I never seen Iida cry like that.." 

He nodded "Well just make sure he knows you are there"

"ok I am gonna head to bed" I walked to my room 

I laid on my bed and went to sleep. 

The next day it was raining. I ran to school with my hoodie on. I almost fell when Iida ran past me. I got inside and took off my hoodie and hung it up and changed my shoes then went to class. Dad told us about our internships and how we all have to do an internship. I got some offers coming in a close second to Todoroki. 

"No surprised that Yuriami got so many offers," Mina said 

"What? Because of her dad," Mineta said 

"Stop speaking about Yuriami like that!" Uraraka yelled 

"I meant while Yuriami only had her quirk for less than a year, she has amazing control. I bet those agencies want her to train with them because of that" Mina said 

"Yea Yuriami is amazing with her quirk," Kamanari said 

"Before we do that we have to discuss hero names," Dad said regaining our attention. 

Midnight came in saying she was giving final says in names. Aoyama's was...definitely him. Mina was turned down for Alien Queen. Tsuyu's name was cute and encouraged others to say theirs. I went up with my board nervous. I sat the board down and everyone looked shocked. 

"Yuri..." Mina said 

"I realize I am gonna have to do a lot to live up to this name. However, if I am given their power then I carry that burden. I am The god's hero: my name is Megami" I said 

Everyone clapped and I sat down in my seat. We were given our papers for our internships. I was surprised to see Endeavor's Agency. I guess it might be good to control my Hestia power. I wrote down his agency and turned in my paper. 

After school, I ran after Iida to catch up to him. I got by him and grabbed his arm. 

"Hey Iida want to grab a bite to eat-" I was surprised when he pulled away 

"This does not concern you Yuriami! Butt out!" He yelled

I stood in shock as he walked away and left school. I looked down and sighed. I went to my locker and changed my shoes and walked out and sat at the train stations. I felt like a hypocrite. Back in my old world, I did the same thing to the one guy that tried to understand me, who tried to help me. Like Iida, I yelled at him for butting in. I eventually got on the train to go home. I walked into the house and clenched my fist as I changed into my workout clothes and ran to the beach where I began doing exercises. I wanted to cry but I wouldn't let myself. Iida's words were repeating in my head, like a broken record. Eventually, it was too much. I let out a scream as ice went all around me. I was in the middle of all of the ice as I let out some of my breaths. I saw the fog from my breathing from my cold body. I screamed again but stopped as my quirk wouldn't activate. I looked around as the ice disappeared. I saw my dad standing there staring at me. He walked over and hugged me tightly. I just hugged him back and sighed. 

"...Getting into situations that don't concern you makes you a hero Yuri.." He said 

I looked at him surprised but nodded nonetheless. I leaned on him and closed my eyes relaxing my body. We went home and I went to bed with a lot on my mind.
