Everests POV| i didn't know what the fuck was happening when that titan took out the damn wall, i didn't understand what my parents meant for me to run i didn't see why titans were a threat at my age since my parents tried to not expose me to what was actually happening outside the walls, nor did i know why my parents decided to hide me from something that would've happened eventually, when titans rule the walls and it all starts with one. from all my spacing out of everything happening all at once which my brain couldn't apprehend i heard very loud foot steps my parents told me to go towards the back door but i stood still confused why they were in so much distress, the house was shaking at this point and then a titans hand smashed through the roof luckily the roof didn't fall but unluckily there was a hole punctured through the roof while my mom was being grabbed by a titan. my dad picked me up running out of the house when i looked up all i could see was blood being spilled and loud painful screams from my mom who already lost her legs and i was just staring knowing i would never be able to see her again. i looked to the side seeing a boy being carried a girl running by his side he kept shouting it seemed like he also lost his mom to a titan. when we were evacuating a titan with armor broke through the other wall while my dad was running towards the evacuation boat the same boat that boy shouting was in. while it was moving people were pushing and shoving panicking, my dad told me to get ready while i was confused and he threw me onto the boat. i landed on someone good thing they were sane, they got up and helped me up, i was reaching for my dad not showing any facial expression but my eyes said it all, i was in clear devastation of loss and pain.
