Chapter 10: the aftermath

What did Todd hurt his brother? Why was everyone so afraid of him? Why was the RN was right? How did he know?

Jake POV

My mother was crying for Todd, my father went chasing him, hopefully he would comeback, we called the police to search for him.

I got inside with my bloody were Todd have slapped me, it was so painful, but I don't think he didn't mean to do it.

I was sitting at the couch as my mom were looking for the first aid box where every medicine and bandage are there.

As I was sitting, my other two older siblings(Mary and Luca) were trying to calm me down.

Mary: hey it will be ok,

Mary said softly

Jake: how come??

I sniffed

Mary got a little hesitant over this

Luca: it will be ok, I'm sure dad and the cops will find him.

I was at the bed waiting for my brother to come, but he never came and it hurts me.

I heard a creek from the door and what I saw was Stella, Todd's girlfriend.

She had a despondent face on her, as tears were still coming out of her as she is trying to wipe them off

Stella enters in my room as I got up and wipe my tears away.

Stella was stuttering, she could even say what does she wants to say

I said it softly

Stella: why did he hit you?

Jake: I don't know, he was upset and-

I was about cry about that moment

Stella was looking at me, still waiting for an answer

I burst out crying in the bed

Stella came over to me as she lays on the bed and starts to hug me.

She also cries out as she hugs me in that moment

Stella*crying*: don't worry *sniffing* we will find him.

After a few hours later

They wake up and decided to talk about Todd

Stella: so can you tell me about Todd?
Jake: well since he is a dusk lycanroc, a study shows that dusk Lycanrocs have anger issues
