Chapter 12: side to side

On the previous chapter, Todd and Stephanie were now working together for the very first time. They were going to stop this Chad from getting there soil.

Todd POV

I was walking down with Stephanie as I take off my green jacket since it was getting

Are we're almost there? I said sweating

We're not close yet Stephanie replied

Apparently you went to far from your home city especially when it's night time it will get cold so beware of that.

I'm wondering if my friends still think about me, I'm not to sure but I know they don't because they describe me as a monster.

Stella and Jake head outside to see there other friends there, all of them concerned.

Jordan: hey Stella, where are planning to find Todd
Brittney: yeah so we can bring him back home

Stella: ok guys that's good, but I just want you to know,

All: hm?

Stella: did you guys knows about Todd's journal?

Hunter: wait Todd has a journal?

Vanessa: a journal?

Zach: he never told us he had a journal

Stella: what, so this was his secret

Jordan: I guess so, Todd never keep us secrets but I won't think this will be a big secret

Stella: me neither,

Jessie: we have to find him!

All: right!

They all started to run look for Todd, but Jake stays behind to understand Todd's journal.

He gets back inside to see his family in the table still concerned about Todd, Jake's mother is on her phone posting stuff in social media so everyone can look for her son, While his father was still talking to the cops.

Luca and Mary were taking care of little Anna, that's what all they were doing.

Jake was now despondent, he lost his brother, and he doesn't know where he is, he wishes he was back so he can forgive him.

Jake goes to his room and checks the mirror in the bathroom too see the bloody check, he took do the bandage to see the blood have dry out but the cheek was open, he gasp and called his mom.

Jake: MOM!

He hears footsteps which it was his mother coming quickly.

Jake's mother enter the bathroom: what is it?

Jake: my cheek! It's open(he cried showing to his mother)

Mother: oh my goodness!

Jake: I think it still hurts

Jake was about to touch his open cheek but his mother slaps his hand
Mother: don't touch it! I'm going get something to cover it up.

Jake: ok (jake sniff as he wipe his tears off)

His mother came back with something pointy

Mother: ok here have a wooden spoon, it's for your mouth.

Jake's grabs it to wooden spoon and puts it on his mouth.

It will hurt a bit, his mother said

Jake's mother grabs the open cheek fur from Jake as she suck it in with the needle

Jake grunts as he starts to bite it

His mother starts seeing it up his check which Jake starts to jute even harder.

At the point they were finish: Ok ok it's all done! Come here!

His mother open her arms to give him a hug as Jake went to hug his mother wiping his tears off

It was painful but he was soon get better

Meanwhile.

It was getting dark, in the forest it was getting really dark.

Stephanie grabs to wood to make a fire while Todd was finding a place to sleep.

Todd: I hope there ok

Todd looks up at the sky, all the stars shining above him, Stephanie comes up to him and comfort him.

Hey Todd everything will be fine, Stephanie replied patting on Todd's back

Thanks Stephanie, Todd smiled and looks up at the sky.

I regret it what have I done, now my family thinks I'm a monster and it hurts me.

I wish everything would be fixed.

Stephanie and Todd were now getting ready to sleep for the next cold night.

Todd: I hope you guys will forgive me, hopefully.
