What does it mean to have empathy? Does it mean to love? To be cared for? To listen and always be there? Well I believe that empathy is to love harder and feel deeper. Empathy. It's a gift and a curse. You want to love people so much, even if they don't love you back. You listen and take in their hardships as your own. Other peoples emotions. We wrap it up in a tight bubble and hold them with love and care; we don't break it. Because all those emotions are like glass. When shattered we split into a million pieces. But we also put ourselves back together. So what does it mean to have empathy for you?
