Honestly I have no idea how this chapter will come out, but we're going to say Ahsoka is in her early twenties when this story takes place. Anakin was like, nineteen when he took Ahsoka as his Padawan, and I think Ahsoka is perfectly capable of taking a Padawan, especially since the war is over.
Enjoy :)
"I never thought it'd be so nerve-wracking," Ahsoka told her old master, arms crossed in nervousness. "You were lucky, I just appeared. You didn't have to go through the stress of picking a Padawan."
"You call that lucky? I was literally in the middle of a battle and then I had an arrogant kid dropped on me." Anakin chuckled and looked at her amused.
"Excuse me?" Ahsoka laughed. "I'll admit I was a brat of a kid, but that's just low."
"Of all people I should be allowed to call you arrogant."
"Ya well-" Ahsoka cut herself off. She quickly turned her head towards the nose. A master came through the doors, a hint of a smile on her face. Anakin whispered to her.
"I'll be in my quarters, call me when you're back."
"Knight Tano, please, come." She gestured towards the door. Ahsoka gave a nervous smile and nod to Anakin and followed, fidgeting with the clasp on her glove. When she entered there was a group of teenagers gathered chatting with different masters, most of whom she didn't recognize. A few human, one Rodian, an Ithorian, a Tholothian, and a few other various species Ahsoka didn't bother identifying. Her eyes caught on the teenagers she remembered from so many years ago, when she was still a Padawan. Many of them already had a master with them, all but two she didn't know, and the Tholothian. Katooni.
Oh this would be easy.
Ahsoka grinned when she walked further in to greet them. She immediately set course for Katooni who was already staring her down, a smile on her own face. "Knight Tano!" She exclaimed.
Ahsoka chuckled. "It's so amazing to see you Katooni."
"And you." She had a grin plastered on her face, relieved that there was a master who might take her. She was nearly fifteen now, and was worried she would either be assigned a master or she'd be sent to the Agri-Corps. The anxiety was to be expected, but it washed away when Ahsoka walked in. A familiar face brought her comfort.
"Now, let's see how far you've come. How old are you now?"
"Fifteen," She answered, a smile still on her face.
"It really has been that long, hasn't it? Well, come here, I want to see your lightsaber skills." Ahsoka guided them further away from the group sticking closer to the doors. The wind bit at her exposed skin, but she continued.
"I'd like to say I've improved," Katooni quipped. She had to remember however, that Ahsoka was no longer a Padawan. She was a knight, and it could have been considered disrespectful to talk like they were friends. She was about to apologize but Ahsoka's grin was confirmation that it was okay.
"Let's put it to the test then." Ahsoka assumed a sort of relaxed fighting position, her feet close to each other but pointed correctly to keep her weight in case of attack. "I'll give you the option, one lightsaber or two?" She asked.
Katooni had her lips in a tight grin as she assumed a similar position. Her lightsaber- or should I say lightsabers- were hidden underneath her robes, but pulling them both out she spoke. "Let's do two. Fair fight." Ahsoka gave her a proud look as she took her own lightsabers from her belt.
"I didn't think I'd be lucky enough to find another dual wielder as a Padawan." Katooni grinned at the thought of Ahsoka becoming her master. "Let's begin."
