I saved every letter you wrote me...from the moment I read them I knew you were mine, you said you were mine, I thought you were mine...

I flipped through the letters my girlfriend, Rosa, wrote me. She was never one for the whole lovey-dovey stuff, neither was I. But, as we got further into our relationship, she started writing me letters, finally letting down her guard.

I threw the letters into the metal bin sitting on the table infront of me. Followed my a match.

I watched the letters fade and crinkle into the orange flames surrounding them. I saw the word forever fold over from one of the letters. My anger seemed to fuel the fire. Finally the embers began to die and the remanence of our love faded away.
