Ella's POV

"okay, can we ask you a few questions?" Tyson asked beside me.

woah, woah...woah, I just learnt out their names and they already starting with questions .

Don't be rude, it's just a few questions.

Yeah it's just a few question, what could get wrong?

Chill girl, they are William's friends.

Yeah but don't let your guard down tho.

After I made up my mind, I look over to William for reassurance. He gave me a nod telling me it's going to be fine. Okay then, let's get it started. I look to Tyson and agreed.

"Ok can you tell me why your in the forest where William found you?" he started off. Okay you know what, I regret putting myself in this situation. How did he know plus who would be dumb enough to say "oh yeah I was running for my dear life from a crazy mafia men who's trying to get his revenge on some people that I didn't know exist" so casually.

"I was running" I told him the same answer that I gave to William.

Dario's POV

"I was running" she said biting her lower lip. Yeah she's hiding something. And the fading bruise on her neck didn't go unnoticed by us.

"how old are you?" I asked her.

She looked over my direction and answered "I'm 16".

Yeah she's the same age as my daughter, in fact something tells me that she is indeed my daughter. She got her mother's features. But we can't just tell her that.

After the boys hovered her with questions one after another, she excused herself to the washroom. After her steps disappeared, I looked over them the boys, all seems to be deep in thoughts.

"giuro di averla già vista" Leo said after returning his gaze from the door. ( i swear i've seen her before)

"how?" William asks.

"When?" Ethan adds.

"where?" Ace said after.

"Really?" the twins ask in disbelieve.

"slow down with the questions" I said.

"I guess it was last week. When Ace needed me to handle something related with the stolen goods" he started boredly. "Then I bumped into her on my way to my bike. When I helped her up, I saw her eyes, they were exactly the same like mother's. But I didn't think about it too much" he finishes.

"and tell me you saw the bruise on the sides of her neck" I said to them.

Ella's POV

"Gosh what would they think of me" I mumbled quietly. Staring at myself in the bathroom mirror, the reflection staring back was a girl I can hardly recognize. The puffy dark eyebags, the bruises all over visible to the eye, a few cuts here and there plus cracked lips. I look miserable.

Rolling back my sleeves down and taking a deep breath, I made my way back to the living room. Only, I don't remember where actually. My stupid brain can't even remember the way back. I sigh and walk along the hallway. What's with them and their big house.

After mistaking the gym for the living room, I walk back along the path that I took and found another pair of doors, I open it hoping it is it, and found myself in a library, books were neatly place from the floor straight up to the ceiling. I gently closing the door back and stood there frustrated. It's like a freaking huge maze that I don't even know when I'll be able to go out.

I should keep walking till someone finds me.

As I was nearing a corner, I bumped into someone's chest. I didn't sign up for this whole bumping into people. I look up to see Leo. Can someone tell me why it's him again. Out of everyone here, I bumped into him, the one that gives off a "I don't give a fuck" or "don't mess with me" type of vibe.

"come on everyone's waiting at the dining table" he said turning to where I assume the kitchen not bothering to ask where I was and leaving me to help myself up. It's not my fault that I got lost, you should consider giving me a map.

And I quickly followed him before he disappears into the corner.
