George didn't know what to think. If he had to take a wild guess, he was nervous. All he wanted was to go back to London. Now he was in Florida, somewhere he'd never been.Sure his friend lived there, but he was told they moved onto the complete opposite side of Florida. Hey, at least they were much closer? Besides, Dream wanted to keep his identity a secret.
Dream? Clay? George didn't know. Clay was his name but he was so used to using Dream that it felt second-nature.
Right. School.
George glanced down the halls. To the students, the walls seemed infinitesimal. To George, they seemed massive. The only thing filling them was students. Way too many of them. George tried to come early to avoid people, but alas, he failed.
People were crowding his left and right, some trying to get to class, most just chatting with what George could rightfully assume were friends, and a few were introverts, deciding on keeping their minds focused on their devices. Sometimes a book, or a drawing, or-
George was knocked out of his thoughts by a harsh shove, stumbling to regain balance. He instinctively rubbed his arm where it was mainly hit, shrinking in on himself. It just fed into his claustrophobia. He needed an escape, and now.
Now. Now. Now, but where? Somewhere, anywhere. Please.
His mind raced as he began to panic before he heard a familiar-sounding, "George?"
George spun on his heel, facing a taller man, who he soon recognized as Bad. George sighed of relief. Finally, someone I know.
He gave a small wave and politely smiled.
"Are you okay? It's too many people, isn't it?" George gave a small nod, Bad returning it before leading the shorter man to a more secluded and quiet area. That was before George squeaked as Bad tightly hugged him.
"Geoooorge!~ You lil' muffin, I didn't know you came here! Are you not in any of my classes?" Bad giggled and held George at arm's length, grinning at him. "Yeah, I just moved here recently," George smiled back, hugging his books against his chest. He handed Bad a small, neatly folded piece of paper.
Bad took it and opened it with care, reading over his schedule. "Ohhh goodie! You're in most of my classes, besides P.E., so I can show you around," George gave a thankful nod. "Thank you, Bad," "No problem you adorable lil' muffin!"
The two settled to sticking together for most of the day, making their way to class after class. George felt a lot calmer, it was sorta strange how Bad almost had an instant-calming aura.
That was..until Clay was switching periods and could've sworn he saw George. No, no that's not right. George is across Florida. Must be another student. He brushed it off and turned, walking away. George looked back at the same moment, having the odd feeling someone looked at him, though assumed it was nothing, and went to catch up with Bad.
