No matter how much anyone tells me, this still remains, and will forever remain, the most epic moments of my life, for as I told you they were on the way, they came. And the way they did made the four of us clap and cheer and hoot.
Opening the heavens above as if, came a huge golden chariot, pulled by two golden pegasi. It was a familiar one, and so were the two gods sitting in front. The guy had blonde hair, blue eyes, and unlike the last times, he wore a golden battle armor. His golden cape flew high, arrow and bow at the ready. Yes, Apollo. By his side, his twin sister, Artemis, in her favorite avatar, of the tank top, and camping pants. She too, had her bow and arrows ready. As soon as the chariot landed, from the carriage, came out about thirty girls, all wearing tank tops, with 3G written on them. These were the hunters of Artemis. Artemis was complaining about space to her brother, who was laughing it off. The two ordered their chariot to leave.
A chasm opened on the floor, right next to the two deities, and out came the Lord of the Underworld, along with his wife, wearing a war helmet, with his pitchfork in hand, and black robes that matched his anti. Persephone, just like Hades, was dressed in all black. She had no weapon, but was equally frightening. The two got down from Hades's chariot, pulled by black horses, as Hades said, "The missus leaves in the morrow. She said she wouldn't wanna miss this."
Two chariots landed on either side of the gods present. One of them contained the goddess of wisdom. Her owl flew around her. She raised her spear, and her shield (I figured it was not the Aegis), and jumped out of her chariot. The other one was bigger, and two people on it. The one driving the chariot was a lady, rough and brutish, but attractive enough, with very familiar amber eyes. "Urwa!" I whispered, "See if you know her." Enyo looked at her. "Ammi!" Urwa muttered. Enyo nodded, with a smile. Behind her, standing on his feet was a god all well known to us, but yet unfamiliar. Ares was in his original get up, top class battle armor, with a powerful spear stained with blood, and a shield. However, we could not see his face. He wore a war helmet, which hid all his face in darkness. The only things that could be seen out of that were his hair, and those fiery red eyes.
Hera ran in right after. The Queen of Olympus let everyone down with her entry, despite being at a position that high. Her peacocks flew her chariot down, as she stepped out with a lotus staff.
Dionysus pushed the breaks on his chariots. His leopards Kristoff and Anna nearly ran over the huntresses. The Lord of wine was without any weapon, and was in a party mood, as he wore a very colourful party outfit ever.
Demeter's entry was different. She didn't put up any show. She just appeared, walked into the Citadel, and stood beside Hera. Her gaze was at two people, her children. Specially, her son. That son who had caused all this, in his quest for vengeance.
Hephaestus made an entry like no other. He didn't fly in, as he drove a truck on water, and then, into the land. He nearly ran Ares over, but drove sideways, and knocked over a few undead. The cargo bed of the truck contained some scientific device. I was not good at science, so I had no idea what I was looking at.
Hermes ran in too, using his speed to his advantage. I supposed he had run all the way from Olympus to Themiscyra. His caduceus staff now looked like a spear, as he swirled it in his hands.
And lastly, the father of entries, the Lord of the sky, the King of Olympus, Lord Zeus. He came last, with lightning flashing across the skies, rain making a little entry, and a golden chariot pulled by the most beautiful bald eagle came flying down. Inside it, in his golden battle armor, over a familiar white chiton, Zeus stood, holding his lightning bolt.
The gigantes took a moment, as Zeus ordered me, "Free your brethren, young warlock, till we warm up."
As soon as he said it, Ares and Enyo attacked. Behind them, every other god attacked the giants. Hades took on Alcyoneus, Zeus was taking on Polybotes and Porphyrion together, and yelling, "Where is that useless brother of ours when we need him?" Classic Zeus! Hera, Demeter and Persephone took on Phoitos. Athena was joined by Enyo against Enceladus. Ephialtes and Dionysus were still in a war of words. Hephaestus pulled out the device from his truck, while blocking hammer hits from Mimas. Apollo took on Aristaius, and Artemis and her hunters took on Gration. Hermes was frustrating Hippolytus with his speed. And Ares took on Theodamus.
Jared and Elisha took this moment, to whistle to the sky, and call a chariot carried by cranes. They got up on that chariot, and left.
Meanwhile, the four of us leaped on to free our friends. I used my magical strength to tear apart Iris's chains, as Tina and Gerard freed the Atlanteans. Urwa freed all the Amazons. It didn't take our brethren more than a second to pick up their weapons and jump in.
Iris told us that she had to return to Atlantis, since there was an army of monsters Jared had sent towards our home. She had to stop that. She opened up a portal, and left. "Is that everyone?" Urwa asked.
Before I could answer, the sea behind the Citadel went berserk. Waves became violent and vigorous, and lashed on the shore. "Nope." I said, "The sea-people aren't even here yet."
