As soon as the gigantes fell over, every Atlantean came and bowed before me. Even my girlfriend, brothers and my little sister Hiya (Riya didn't, she said I was still an idiot). I looked at the gods, who were standing behind me, totally confused. Zeus said, "Best thing about being king. Everyone kneels in front of you."
I decided to be the king I had been thinking of being, and asked everyone to rise. "Are you out of your mind?" I asked them, "Just because I am Atlantis's king now, doesn't mean things have changed between us. I am still seventeen years old, and am still a high school student. And most importantly, I am still your magician friend. Nothing has changed. So please, don't kneel in front of me."
"Ugh!" Zeus said from behind, "Typical mortal."
"Oh, come on, Brother." Poseidon said, "He wants to be a nice king. Let him be."
"You saying I'm not nice?" Zeus asked, his eyes glinting again, as if he was about to explode, "Remind me again, who beat the giants? Me." Yeah, go on, take all the credit.
"Oh please," Poseidon said, "don't embarrass yourself. You lost a son today. While you needed a minute, I was the one keeping Porphyrion at bay."
"Oh, yeah? Where were you when the giants rose from Tartarus?"
Lightning flashed in the sky. Waves grew more violent near the sea. And just then, like a guardian angel, Hades held the two by their ears, and brought them close. "You two will actually kill me." He said, "Our fight isn't over. Who knows where that Wilson kid is. He is invulnerable, and no one knows his weakness. Now, will you idiots stop boggling over credit and do something worthwhile?"
"But he took my credit." Zeus said.
"Alright both of you, shut up." Hades screamed.
"You dare ask your King to shut up?" Zeus screamed.
"No." Hades said, "I am asking my younger brothers to shut up. We need to find Wilson and his sister. Or we will actually die."
The word 'die' seemed to quiet Zeus down. I looked at my friends. Delilah approached. "Your Highness." She said. "Your Highness." I replied. We laughed for a bit. However, that didn't last long, since we were leaving for Olympus, to stop Jared.
All the gods called in their chariots, and we all were accommodated in them, except for me and my sisters, who flew on my griffin, and the huntresses, who were asked to look after Themiscyra, while the Amazons were away. Riya decided his name to be Dev, on my only friend back in Gurgaon. I asked her why, to which, she replied, "He took care of you, kinda, when we were away. This is the least we could do for him."
"Will he ever visit Atlantis, Jay da? Now that you are king?" Hiya asked from ahead of me.
"I wish he does." I said, "However, he has no idea I am a demigod. And I guess the less mortals know about this world, the better."
"King, Jay!" Riya said, "King of Atlantis."
"Can you believe it?" I asked, "I didn't even know that this place existed eighteen months ago,"
"No, I can't." Riya said, "But, given how everything you've done recently, I don't think I can argue with this. You've led us well, in all the missions. You've been by our side, learning and mastering your powers. You've been human, making mistakes, but also giving your everything to correct yourself. Gods know what happened in Atlantis while you were there..."
Hades and Persephone, along with my brothers, were flying beside us. Hades interrupted, "Oh, he saved the people of Atlantis from Wilson's minions. With a slight help from his mother."
