Chapter 1

"Alexis, Logan, Cole! out of bed now, this time I mean it training starts in 5 minutes."

Agent ross yelled

The three kids got up begrudgingly and put on their uniforms of the day which consisted of black leggings a black and grey jacket that went up to the throat and a pair of boots that were black. Alexis had brown hair mixed with blond highlights and it was till her lower-middle back. she always tied up her hair in an ornate braid mixed with a ponytail. Logan and Cole had brown hair with blonde highlights they just brushed their hair back and tied up their shoes and left. They each had weapons they brought to training. They all chose to use pocketknives because it was easier to get a pocketknife out rather than a huge sword. They also had their power or ability as a weapon. They grabbed a bar and headed to the training room.

"Finally, you decided to get your asses out of bed," Ross said

"Ahhh aren't you a grey sprinkle on a rainbow cupcake," Alexis replied she was very good at making comebacks. However if pushed her buttons to much she would hurt you.

" haha, nice one. Grab your knives, in the circle."

"Today you will work on your powers then you will start fighting again." Ross had always had a plan straight.

You would go train and he would have what you needed to work on. They had used their powers before but, they weren't perfect at them. They started training with their powers when they turned 16. Before it would have been too dangerous.

Alexis's power was very strong she could control all of the elements. Cole could control things with his mind and, Logan could shapeshift into anything. They had to slowly practice otherwise they could get hurt very badly.

After about a good half hour Logan, and Cole could do theirs. Alexis was frustrated because they had ones that would be easier to control.

"I can't do it." Said Alexis

"It's too strong."

"you have to learn. Breathe and think. Concentrate on what you want to happen"

Alexis moved her hands flexing them as she thought. She needed to think of a strong memory. She suddenly began to think the first fight she won against Logan, how she punched his jaw and swapped at his legs, after that she won. She opened her eyes and breathed. Then suddenly as if she had done it her whole life, she created a flame in the palm of her hand. It wasn't huge but, it was a start.

"I told you." Ross was never one to give up too easily.

"Thanks."

She concentrated again and she dissolved the flame.

Meanwhile, Cole had lifted the coffee pot with his mind and logan well, he transformed into ross.

"I'm ross and I say work harder. Do this do that. I'm a Jack ass" Logan said in a shape like Ross's body. The power of shapeshifting wasn't going into someone's body but transforming into that body.

"Ok idiot enough, Into the fighting ring. Alexis and Cole in."

Alexis tightens her hair. She always makes thefirst move. She swipes at Cole's legs and pulls him down. Cole gets up andthrows his weight against Alexis as he aims for her jaw. She blocks the punchwith her forearm but, he punches faster and with greater force and hits hersquare in the jaw causing her to get knocked out
