Chapter 4:

"wake up!"

A jarring voice and blinding lights woke up the triplets. The voice belonged to someone non-other than Weston.

"The Hellman" groaned Logan

"Yeah, why would you wake us up at three in the morning?!" Cole yelled

"Alexis. Wake up."

Everyone thought she was still asleep but she got up at 2:30 in the morning and decided to get ready. She also heard people from the monitors talking about training at 3:10, when Weston came to pick her up out of bed she punched him dead in the jaw. Now the jaw is hard to break by a human fist, but it could bruise if punched hard, which is what she did.

"What is wrong with you?!" Weston snapped

"A lot." With that, she flipped her hair and left.

Weston smiled to himself. She was very strong, and other thoughts that he quickly erased out of his mind.

"Excuse us." Said, Cole, and Logan

"Training room in five."

After that logan walked several steps and murmured to Cole- cole nodded.

"Hey, Weston. Don't play games with her. Leave her be, she hurts and is in pain. She doesn't need you playing games with her head. Stop and just be her instructor." He said with mixed emotion

"What do you mean?" he knew what he meant but, couldn't admit it to himself.

"You smiled at her. I read people. mask up to your emotions, She doesn't like you. She won't let herself care about you. She's had too much pain, too much wondering, LEAVE HER ALONE."

Weston was appalled. He got his demeanor back which was almost cold warm.

"Training room now."

"Right, left, right, left, right, left." Alexis was murmuring to herself while she was punching a bag.

Someone came up behind her and pinned her arm from behind. She quickly kicked someone from behind her and pinned them to the ground.

"That's gonna leave a bruise for sure." Gasped Cole

"Damn Lex. How in the world did you do that?" asked cole

"Training. And Also I'm just better at fighting."

"Accept when I was faster and you and knocked you out on accident," Cole smirked

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah minus that one."

"Where is logan?"

"He went to talk to Weston."

"aaaah."

"Well, Cole I bet that I can fight better than you."

"Pshhh. You wish."

"Best out of 3?"

"You're on."

Alexis usually makes the first move. She was very flexible a point in her direction but, Cole could also act very well. Alexis swung at Cole he moved away every time,

"You actually gonna fight? Or are you too scared?"

He went to make a move but, she swiped his legs and put her foot on his throat. (Lightly enough to where he could breathe but, hard enough to keep him there.)

"That's one point for me." She replied smugly

At that moment when she helped him up with a smile on her face, Weston and Logan got to the training room.

"Did you just smile? Like a genuine smile?" logans asked appalled

In the corner, Weston smiled.

"No. ww-why would I do that"

"WOW," Logan said shocked

"Enough Get your knives," Weston said not angrily but, sincerely almost.

Alexis looked at him surprised that he would even let out a sentence like that.

They all grabbed their knives loosened their wrist and took a small lunge and through. The knife gliding through the air with a quiet puncture. Then all of the sudden a blaring siren sounded. Bullet holes started coming through the glass. A bomb exploded and the ceiling came crashing down separating Weston and cole from logan and Alexis.

"Is everyone ok?" asked Weston

"Alexis and I are fine."

"I'm good" coughed cole

Logan saw the shooter running away and his eyes met with Alexis.

There was a tiny peep inside the ceiling allowing Weston to see what was going on.

"Don't you even think about it?" He commanded

"I'm sorry. But, they destructed this place. We have to find out who he is. When I grab a hold of him he will wish he died during the bombing" Alexis said

"NO. as your commander you stay put."

Alexis's eyes were pleading as she looked at logan.

"I'm sorry Weston."

They got free of the concrete and crashed a window and ran disappearing into the black night.
