Alexa's POV

I took the seat at the front and waited for the teacher to come in the class. I'm expecting him or her to be an cranky old lad or lady who's gonna be really strict with us.

Has Felix's class started yet?

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder, making me jump in alert. I looked to my right and saw a blonde haired girl with rectangular spectacles. She had books in her hand and had a nervousness in her eyes.

She looks cute though. She has pretty hair.

"Um...can I sit?" She asked in nervousness. I nodded and moved to one side, letting her sit down. She placed her books on the desk and fiddled with her fingers.

"I'm Alexa." I introduced myself, stretching my hand out. She shook my hand and nodded.

"I'm Mia. Nice to meet you." She said and smiled. I smiled back.

Suddenly, an guy in about his mid-twenties stepped in with a few books in his hand. There was no doubt that he was attractive. His dark hair were tied in a tiny pony at back and he definately had a million dollar smile.

Girls were already swooning over him.

My phone vibrated in my pocket and I peeked a look at it. It was Felix. He had sent me a selfie of his in his class.

Mr Hotty:
Miss you already, love.

He had sent the message under the picture. An smile spread on my cheeks before I quickly slipped it in my backpack.

"...and I wish you good luck for your first year." The teacher finished his speech with a smile.

"Wow. He really has an effect on others with his words." Mia said from beside me.

"He's an English teacher. Duh." I rolled my eyes. She adjusted her glasses and cleared her throat.

"For our first day, lets start with something simple, yeah?" He said. "All of you take your notebooks and pens out and write an essay. It can be about anything: a moment that brings a smile on your face or just a simple memory of a day you spent with someone special. Any questions?"

A pink coloured girl with lots of piercings raised her arm, mischievously.

"Please tell your names too, so I can remember them. Yes?" He asked her. She stood up lazily.

"I'm Jessica Scott. My question is, are you single Mr Gilbert?" Hearing this, a few boys and girls laughed while she was just smirking.

When did he tell his name?

When you were busy smiling like a maniac. Duh.

"No, I'm not, Ms Scott." Mr Gilbert smirked proudly. "I'm married with two twin daughters." He said.

I liked him. He knows how to deal with brats.

The girl, Jessica huffed and sat down with a loud sigh.

"Start writing everyone. From tomorrow, you will get weekly assignments and you'll have to complete them if you want grades."

We nodded and I started lifted my pen to write my essay. As I thought about my life experiences till now, all I could think was the highschool, me crying in that classroom after those disgusting moments, him trying to kiss me-

"Alexa!" I snapped out of it was a gasp and looked at Mia who was staring at me in concern. "You're shaking." She said, looking at my hands.

I threw the pen and stared at the blank page.

It never affected me before in these few months, why now? Why now when I'm going start a new life? Why fucking now?!

"Okay. You guys can leave now." Mr Gilbert said. Everyone rushed out and I left after everyone was gone.

"Aren't you going to eat? Come on." Mia said. I shook my head with a smile.

"I'm waiting for someone. You go ahead." I said and she agreed with a nod.

Suddenly, I spotted Felix making his way to me. He smiled as he looked at me and I grinned. I was about to take a step forward to him, when suddenly he got pinned to the near wall.

I gasped when I saw who was the person pinning him.

Jessica fucking Scott.

Her one hand was pressed on the wall, because of which Felix couldn't leave and other one was on his chest, sliding up and down, in a seductive manner, I suppose.

My mind went blank. I couldn't form any words or even decided what to do now. I just stood there, still, staring at them.

Jessica whispered something to him, her lips really close to his. I shut my eyes tight, tightened my fists and bit hard on my lower lip.

I repeated in my head, praying for her to not kiss him.

"Jesus. Have a little mercy on that pretty lip." I heard Felix said and a familiar touch at my lips as it got pulled out from my mouth. I slowly opened my eyes and looked up, only to meet his beautiful brown ones.

"Hi, sweet-cheeks." He said and grinned cheekily. I looked behind him first. But there was no one but only two girls buried in books. I look back at him and sigh in relief.

"Hi." I whispered. He smiled and grabbed my hand before walking inside the canteen.

As we were taking our food, all eyes were on us. Or should I say, him?

Everyone was looking at him, some in disbelief while others, mostly girls were clearly eye-fucking him and some were glaring at me.

"Don't worry, sweetheart." Felix whispered. "Let's sit and eat."

As soon as I took the first bite, I spat it out, coughing. Felix was about take his first bite, I swat his hand.

"Don't!" He looked at me, confused-ly. "That's really salty and gross." I tell him.

"Okay. Let's-"

Two hands banged on our table, loudly, making both of us jump back.

It's were two girls. Both with blonde hair. The one who banged her hands on the table had lots of makeup and the one who was standing beside her with her hands folded on her chest had a tattoo on her wrist.

Both of them eyes me before the girl with makeup raised her eyebrow.

"Are you his sister?" That made me choke on the air I was breathing. Felix glared at both of them.

"No, she's my girlfriend!" He spat at her.

"So," the other one said, "you rejected Jessica for this shit? You're the most stupid person I have ever seen." She rolled her eyes.

Her words, tightened my heart and my throat.

"Shut the fuck up!" Felix yelled and sat up. "Come Lexi." He said and grabbed my hand and my backpack before walking out of the canteen. I just followed his steps quietly.

Before I knew, I was in an empty classroom with him. The classes hadn't started yet so there were no students here.

"Don't listen to them, Lexi. They are just full of bullshit." Felix said, looking at me softly. I nodded. "You're beautiful, my love." He kissed my forehead. I smiled and pecked his cheek.

"I'm fine."
