Sixteen

Alexa's POV

"Hey Emily!" I waved at her. She waved back through the laptop screen. She was at Felix house with Mike, Felix's parents and my parents. They were just have a get together, I guess.

"Hey Alexa! We are missing you guys so much! Just come here, quickly." She said.

"Yeah. We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon. All bags are packed." I tell her with a grin.

"Babe, let others talk to her as well." Mike said. Emily pouted and waved at me before walking away with her boyfriend. The laptop was now with my parents.

"Hey baby. How are you doing?" Dad asked with a smile. "Did you become so busy there that you forgot about your old man?"

"No, dad. I didn't forget about you." I chuckled.

"How are you doing? Is everything okay?" Mom asked.

"Everything is just perfect." I tell them with smile. Suddenly, Felix entered, looking like searching for something.

"Lexi, do you know where I kept the condom packet last night? I can't seem to find it." He said. Blood rushed to my cheeks as my parents stared at me, accusingly.

"Felix!" I glared at him. He just smirked and came forward, kissing my lips. He pulled back when he heard a throat clearing.

Dad looked as if he would come out of the screen and kill Felix right there.

Felix blushed.

He freaking blushed!

"Uh..um..h-hey uncle George, hey aunt Mary."

"You better not impregnate her, little boy." Dad glared at him. Felix shook his head like a good boy.

"Is that my son? Let me talk to him." I heard aunt Lori's voice. After a little shuffling, aunt Lori and uncle John were sitting in front of us now.

"How are your doing, champ? Everything okay?" Uncle John asked.

"Yeah dad. Almost healed. Just ribs are a little sore." Felix tells him with a smile. Uncle John sighed in relief.

"That's good to hear."

"When are you coming here then?" Aunt Lori asked.

"Tomorrow. We will be there till evening." He tells her. I hand him the laptop and watch him as he talks to his parents.

His phone then rang. He just looked at it and smirked.

"Mom, dad, I'll call you guys later. Bye." He said and hung up. He got up from the bed and held my hand. "Babes, come with me." And he dragged me till the door.

He opened the door and there was a gift box outside our door. He picked it up and handed it to me.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Just open it." He grinned. I narrowed my eyes on him, suspiciously.

"Please tell me there's no lingerie in there like last time." He chuckled and shook his head.

"Even though that's an awesome idea, no. Just open it." He grinned.

I opened the box and my jaw dropped. There was a beautiful pale pink dress in there with a little deep neck and white bow and it reached till my thighs.

I can't wait to wear it.

"You like it?" He asked. I nodded and hugged him, keeping the dress aside.

"I love it, Felix. Thank you." I kissed his cheek and hugged him again. "Is this the surprise you were talking about?" I asked.

"No, babe. It's just a part of it." He winked. "Now, tell me, what time is it?"

"11:03 pm. Why?"

"Go, wear this and come." He whispered in my ear before biting my earlobe.

"Okay." I whispered back and kissed his lips, standing on my tip toes.

After I had changed into the dress, I looked at myself in the mirror, doing a small twirl.

Damn, I look good. Like, really really good.

I just opened my hair and combed it messily with my fingers before applying a nude lipstick. I did a little more makeup and when I thought I was looking pretty enough, I stepped out of the room, wearing a pair of heels.

I was surprised by Felix. He was wearing a white shirt with the upper three buttons undone and over it was a black coat with black pants. He looked really hot!

"Damn..." I whisper left my lips before I could even register what I was saying. He chuckled and walked closer to me.

"You look hot too." He smirked, making me go all red. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him with a jerk. "Kiss me, Alexa."

For some reason, he always loved it when I initiated the kiss.

I obeyed and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him. After a few moments, he pulled back and kissed my forehead.

"Let's go now or we will be late." He said as he held my hand.

"Are we going on a date?" I asked.

"You can say that. Yes."

"What does that mean?" I frowned. He just smiled and wrapped his arm around my waist as we entered the elevator. Instead of going down, the elevator went up and Felix just smiled at me.

I decided not to question since I agreed to do as he says.

When the door opened and we reached the terrace, my jaw dropped to the ground.

There were two chairs with a table in the middle with candles and rose petals. There were red and white balloons on the ground. Fairy lights were there and I spotted a few speakers. I'm surprised that the wind didn't blow off everything.

"How's it?"

"Awesome!" I said but then a thought came over to me. "Wait. Is there something important today? Oh shit, is it valentine's day? No, it's not February. Shit, Felix, did I forget your birthday? Oh my god! I'm such a terrible girlf-"

"Happy Anniversary, Lexi." Felix interrupted and smiled, shutting me up. The clock struck twelve and his lips were on mine.

I didn't waste any time and kissed him back, pouring all my heart in it. Telling him how sorry I am.

I can't believe this. It's been a whole year since we are together. How can I forget such an important day?

I feel horrible.

"I'm sorry, Felix." I whispered with tears flowing down as soon as he pulled back. He just smiled and shook his head.

"It's okay, love." He said and wiped my eyes.

"No, Felix. It's not okay. I feel horrible. I can't believe I forgot this day. I'm so sorry." More tears flowed.

"Shh." He placed a finger on my lips. "A whole year passed by with beautiful moments, your beautiful laughs and smiles and hugs and kisses and everything. Every second of it was amazing. So, don't cry on the start of a new year, yeah?"

"Okay." I said and chuckled softly.

You're making it harder for me to tell you there truth. I want to be the reason of your happiness and smile; not frowns and worries.

You deserve the world, Felix and I can't give that to you. But still, I'm too selfish to let you go.

I caressed his cheek with my thumb. "I love you, Felix." I whispered as a few more tears flowed.

"I love you, Alexa." He kissed me again before guiding me to table.
