chapter 21: A Day Worth Remembering

The next day

Rowan's eyes start to blink as he awakes. "Aghh," Rowan groans. He gets up and puts his right hand to his head. Rowan looks around and he sees he is in the tent bell and his friends were.

"Worth it, I guess," Rowan then gets up. He sees his sword and sheath and staff laying on the wall. He also sees his bag on the floor open along with a book missing.

"Someone took that old book wonder who," Rowan grabs his thongs. Puts the bag on his left side. His sword in the sheath on his right side and in his left hand his staff.

"Good to go," He then gets out of the tent. He covers his eyes as the light gets in his eyes. He looks around sees other Loki familia members walking around. "Looks like they're getting ready to leave. Bet to meet up with finn," Rowan then starts to walk off to the captain's tent.

He gets there a knocks on the door. "Come in," He hears. Rowan opens the door and sees the trio of executives of the Loki familia. "Oh, look who is finally awake," Gareth says.

"Are you alright rowan," Riveria asks. "Yes, im fine. Just used a bit of magic I wasn't supposed to use that's all," Riveria blinks at him. "Another magic spell," She says.

"You'll get mind down if you use too much magic. But in your state, you looked terrible and Gale said you cough up blood," She says. "This spell requires a lot more magic than any traditional spell. Now moving on finn your team is leaving yes," Riveria sighs and Finn nods his head.

"Yes, my group and eye will be moving out first. The trail team will follow up along with hermes and hestia," he says.

"I presume you want to be a part of that team yes," Finn says. "Can't leave my goddess and the second member of my familia hanging around at this floor," He says smirking.

"You'll be the leader of this group along with gale and asfi," Rowan nods his head. "I know a little shortcut from the 17th floor up to the 12th floor," Rowan says.

"The shortcut you fought balrog right," Riveria says. "Yep wait how did you know," Rowan looks at her. She then takes out a book underneath her cloak. "Oh you took huh," he says.

"This book has me curious when I saw the Zeus familia insignia on it and its title," She says. "Where you get this book," She says. "From an old man that help me out with the curse I have," He says. She then tossed the book to him and he catches it.

"I would like to know your battle with balrog but we're leaving soon," She says. "Hm, you going to tell him about what happen last night," Gareth says.

Riveria sighs. "What happen," Rowan asks. "Bell and Lefiya had a run-in with a familiar plant monster," Riveria says. "The monster was destroyed by bell and lefiya fortunately," she says.

"Hmm, another plant monster how surprising," Rowan says. "Not only that Evilus members were the corporates of this monster taming," Finn says. "We can't catch a break can we," Rowan says.

"I assume you know Evilus," riveria asks. "Yeah, I had a run-in with them outside of orario before," Rowan says. "But it looks like those two foiled their plan of theirs," He says.

Finn nods his head. "Any other unforeseen circumstances," Rowan asks. "No, not to my belief," Finn says. "Thank God, I just want to go back to the surface after what I have seen and talk about," He says.

"Indeed, we have much to talk about and the future of orario," Finn says. "Yeah, yeah, yeah," Rowan says thinking. "I know that faced you look trouble," Gareth says. "I just feel like something big is going to happen," Rowan says.
