Your face was stained with tears as the rain continued to pour down onto your already drenched body, you desperately knocked against the apartment door waiting for it to open up to reveal your best friend.
"Y/n... what's hap- oomph!" Jungkooks eyes widened at the sight of you, not caring at all that you were getting him all wet. He pulled you into a tighter hug and held you against his chest, rocking you gently as he soothed you. He noticed the tears spilling from your eyes, making your perfectly applied make up smudge. He hated seeing you upset, it was one of his biggest weaknesses.
"Whats happened to my strong y/n hey?" He asked you with a sweet tone, afraid if he raised his voice even just a tiny bit that he'd upset you even further.
"Its Jaehyun. I was afraid he was c-cheating so I checked his phone while he was in the shower." More tears began to fall from your eyes as you explained to him.
"He's been s-seeing this girl Emily for nearly five m-months now Kookie." You sobbed hard as he led you towards the living room to sit you down. He removed your jacket and hung it up to dry as he dissapeared into the kitchen and returned with a cup of hot chocolate for you. You thanked him as he positioned himself beside you ready to hear the rest of the story.
He sat there looking at his bestfriends beautiful tear stained cheeks, wondering how Jaehyun had been so blind to treat her like this. In every mans world y/n was gorgeous, it was impossible to find her unattractive.
Her cute little button nose curved beautifuly above her plump lips, and her eyes still shone as bright as usual despite being so bloodshot and puffy from all the tears she had just shed. The thought of Jaehyun mistreating her so badly, made him feel anger like never before.
You sat there peering into his deep eyes as his face screwed up slightly. All Jungkook could think about was how on Earth this had happened. Jaehyun didn't deserve her at all. not one bit.
You opened your mouth again to finish telling the story yet the lump in your throat wasn't allowing you to. Another loud wail came from your mouth and you continued to cry, Jungkook scooted closer to you to comfort you as he couldn't imagine the way you were feeling.
He hated Jaehyun for doing this to you, especially for betraying your trust. You cried into his neck and he felt you hiccup slightly as you continued telling him what went on.
".... so I confronted him once he was out of the shower and he lied. He lied to my face like I was making it all up. He told me he didn't know an Emily and he doesn't know why I got so mad. Why would he do this to me kookie? Am I not good enough?"
You looked at him with streaming eyes and puffy lips as he rubbed your back for comfort. He looked deeply into your eyes with a stern look on his face.
