<MINGYU'S POV>
Mingyu hated going on double dates. He hated them even more when his friend Jeonghan set them up for him. It was always a bad matchup and he ended up getting bored midway.
But here he was sitting beside Jeonghan in a small but stylish cafe which intrigued him more than his date in front of him. He was never rude to anyone but he did let people know that he wasn't there for them but for his friend by his disinterest in the conversation.
As the four talked the waiter brought their order of Iced Americanos, fries and pastries. Mingyu paid no attention to the food but turned around towards the waiter to ask about the interior design of the cafe.
To his surprise he was met with two surprised eyes staring back at him. The waiter wore black ripped jeans with a white soft looking furry round neck sweatshirt that was quite evident under the black apron. He wore multiple rings in his hands, had a tattoo that was half covered under his full sleeve and also had different numbered peircings in his ears. There was a hint of plum in his lips and a stylish transparent full frame covered his deep brown eyes. He was as surprised as the other but still smiled at him.
"Oh it's you! The museum kid? Oh! What a coincidence!! Do you work here?" Mingyu's excited tone caught everyone's attention on the table as they looked at the two in surprise. The waiter nodded and smiled once again! "Oh Mingyuya you know him ?" Jeonghan was intrigued to see his mostly disinterested in humans friend talking to someone besides the few people they knew commonly! "Honestly no but yes!" He smiled back at the waiter not even looking at his friend. The waiter giggled a little at his reply and went off to man the counter as a new group entered the cafe. Mingyu couldn't help but follow the waiter named Kwon Soonyoung (name on his tag) with his eyes as he disappeared behind the counter.
Mingyu felt refreshed and was all jumpy inside thinking about the waiter. He couldn't wait to hear the other giggle again. What is this feeling he thought?
