Amber's POV

Its been a few days since Jason's mom invited me to the gala and the event is only 2 days away now. I Can't find anything to wear and my mom keeps encouraging me to go so I can show Jason "what he lost". She's so corny. I need help on finding the perfect dress.

Me: Hey girl, need the perfect dress for an upcoming gala!

Courtney: OMG!! I gotchu girl! 2 pm. At Britney's boutique, see you there!

As I arrive to the boutique Courtney is already picking out dresses for me. I should probably tell her I need a size up since being pregnant does that to you lol. "OMG you look so good, you're literally glowing", Courtney says as she pulls me into a tight hug. I wanted to say pregnancy glow duh but I don't think I should tell anyone before I speak to Jason. "Oh no girl this is sweat from it being almost 100 degrees outside", i smile. she chuckles and continues to look for more dresses and I take a seat on a small couch for the guests who are waiting for a dressing room. "Amber? Amber from Jefferson high school", i hear a low deep voice say. As I turn my head I see A tall brunette with amazing hair smiling at me. Oh well who is he. "You probably don't remember me, we were in the same living environments class freshman year, they called me fat brat", his face turns a slight pink telling me that he is clearly embarrassed. "My name is actually Bryan just saying". He extends his hand so I shake it. I think I remember him. But wow he has completely changed. In freshman year he was chubby and would cry when the guys took his food, they would throw it in the air while he tried to jump and catch it. Assholes. I always hated those kids. "Wow, you have definitely changed since freshman year", I tell him smiling. He chuckles, "Yea well i could say the same about you". Damn right I have. I got rid of the stupid braces and after sophomore year my breast finally started to grow so I no longer looked like a boy. As he's about to ask me something I think, Courtney comes back with a rack full of beautiful dresses. "Bryan, damn you look good as fuck", she squeals pulling him into a hug. He smiles. "So you remember my girl Amber here I see", she winks. What is she up to? Oh my... is she really trying to set me up. I'm having a child I can't be dating even though Bryan looks straight of out of a magazine with perfect brown hair and a sharp jawline with make his facial features pop. He's about 6'3 and looks like he works out on a daily basis. "Amber you still there", Courtney says waving her hand in my face. Omg was i staring that hard? Did he notice? Someone take me now. "Yes, sorry my mind was somewhere else". He looks at me with a small smile, he knows I was thinking of him... oh my.
"Bryan has something to ask you", Courtney says pushing Bryan a bit closer to me. He lets out a small laugh, " Well I was wondering if you would be open to going out with me this weekend, we could catch up". Yes yes yes. I mean look at you. Ugh wait the gala is this weekend. Wait! Jason's mother told me to bring a plus 1.. i mean is it really a good idea though? I bet Jason has someone who he will be bringing so whatever I will ask him. "Actually this weekend im going to a Gala in Boston but I do need a plus one", I say a bit nervous that he might say no. " I would love to be your plus one" he smirks. "Well I have to get going, Courtney will give you my number and I'll see you on Saturday", He pulls me into a hug before making his way out. "Oof, he got hot", Courtney laughs as I squat her arm playfully. "We need to find me the perfect dress now. For sure."

After trying on about 10 dresses I am starting to feel tired. The last time I went shopping for a nice dress was senior prom. " Ok one last dress, this one is definitely going to be the one", Courtney smiles handing me a long bright red Satin dress. Holy shit this dress is gorgeous. I take the dress and head to the changing room. It slides perfectly onto my body. It wraps tightly around my waist bringing out my curves, makes my breast look full and brings out my skin tone while also making the baby bump almost invisible . Its perfect. As I set out the dressing room to show Courtney she is clapping and jumping up and down from excitement. "Yesss!! This is the one". She is too much, you got to love her. After she is done checking me out and making jokes I get back in the dressing room to take off the dress. I pay for it and head home. Jason will regret leaving me.

Okkk so i had to add someone new!! I love  Bryan already, you'll love him too i promise. Jason and Amber are soulmates but who knows... anyways I think I might be keeping Courtney around more for outfit advice and girl talk ;) By the way I am sorry for taking so long on writing new chapters.
