Jason's POV

I spent the rest of the day at Amber's, asking questions to which she didn't even know the answer. I don't understand how I never noticed the baby bump. She's freaking 7 months along for god sake. She hid it so well and she's so slim that the bump is almost invisible somehow. This little boy or girl is such a game-changer, I mean I moved hours away how am I gonna be here for amber and my child from Boston... I need to make changes and fast.

As I am driving back to Boston to figure out what my plan is, I get an incoming call from my mother. "Oh sweetie, where have you been? I've been worried sick, you just stormed out of the gala and no one has heard from you since", she blurts out as I pick up the call. "Yea, there were a few things I had to talk to Amber about"...I become silent, I don't know how to tell my mother that I am going to be a dad. "What's wrong Jason baby? Did she try and make you move back to Connecticut with her? Did she give you an STD? I always knew that little girl was a whore, she couldn't even keep it in her pants this weekend since rumors were going around that she did it with some guy in the storage room closet. She is no good for you". Hearing my mother speak so poorly of Amber angered me but also made me upset. The one other woman besides my mother who I love is Amber so it breaks my heart when my mother speaks down on her. "No," I finally say. " Mom...Amber is pregnant. I am going to be a dad". The other side of the line goes quiet. I worry that I might have given my mom a heart attack. I quickly pull my car over into a 7-eleven parking lot. "Mom hello? are you still there?" After about 10 more seconds of silence, she finally says," Jason sweetie I have to go, ok? I love you". Without giving me a chance to say anything back she hangs up.

As I had entered my mother's driveway I saw her car park in the front so she must be home. I unlock the door and step inside. The house is completely quiet. " Mom? Are you here?" Suddenly I hear a loud glass slam onto a table coming from the back of the house. I rush my way to my mother's office to see her standing across her desk with a big tall buff Italian dude standing in front of her. What the hell is going on here. I approach the door slowly but stop when I hear my mother say, "I don't give a shit Russ, just get that shit done by tomorrow night." What could she possibly be talking about. I finally step into the office and my mother's expression goes blank. "You can leave now". She says pointing towards the door. The tall guy scoffs and makes his way out the door. "Mom what the hell just happened", I say considered that my mother might be up in some messy shit. She sighs. "Oh Jason baby," she opens her arms indicating for me to hug her. I walk to her and wrap my arms around my mother. We stand there for a a few seconds when my mother finally breaks the silence and says "Don't worry my baby boy, mommy's going to fix this mess".

Okkk because who do you guys think that guy Russ is?? and what does Jason's mom want him to do and WHAT MESS IS SHE TALKING ABOUT. Tsss idk mann. Jason has a very weird mom if you ask me and she clearly has it out for amber like girl what is you doing calling your sons baby momma a whore. smh.
