Chapter 9

Conall

Finally Dee was right where she needed to be. She was changing a little bit I could tell. She was starting to accept me as a mate even though she did not verbally acknowledge it but Due and Pendragon could feel her accepting them. 

Evander told me what she did to him in Finland by letting him sleep with her. I was not at all happy specially when he told me how she sleeps most of the time, in her birthday suit, or t-shirt and underwear all snuggled up to him inhaling his scent. I think he enjoyed it quite honestly but so would I and now I get all that and then some. 

I just have to keep her away from all the scary stuff that goes on in our pack and pods. I do not know how she would take it when exposed, I will have to feel her out. Evander says not to worry she is cool with the big wolfs standing three to four times her height.

I woke up to knocking on the door, more like pounding, from the twins screaming to get up as dinner will be served in thirty. God I hate my brothers sometimes. They need to find their mates and when they do paybacks will be sweet, so sweet, evil laugh. 

Dee turned and asked what I was laughing about told her to go get cleaned up dinner will be ready in 30 minutes and slapped her ass. I could not help it, it's so lushest and round God I want that ass bad. I show her the ensuite to freshen up and we go down to eat and I introduce her to the rest of the pack that lives in the castle with us. 

"Will there be a test for me to remember all these wolves and dragons?" as she turns her head and asks me. 

Mathe's mouth falls open and Damhan could not believe the words that came out of her mouth, nor could anyone else. Evander and Lachlan both choked on their drinks and spewed it all over Mathe and Damhan. 

"U-um, no princess there will be no test for you to remember their names." I had to chuckle a little. 

"Evander, thought you said she had no clue?" I linked him in mind. 

"No she, I don't think she had any clue about us, maybe that is why she was so comfortable letting me lay next to her and hugging on me and kissing me. Although she did call me a big oof of a dog (eye rolling here)." 

I just looked at her and she smiled and laughed, belly laughed and tears were coming out of her eyes. She could barely talk trying to tell me the look on all our faces are priceless and yes she did figure that it was Evander in Finland baby-sitting her. 

"Well shit how did you even know?" 

"I knew when I got out the shower in front of him and his dog face was like "shit, what the hell are you doing kind of look." and turned his back to me. I just played along but did enjoy the furriness of him sleeping with me. He's so fluffy. Everyone cracked up laughing at him and started calling him fluffy butt now. 

"Hey ya'll I want to see your dragons and lycans or wolves. I want to get to know them." 

"Really? Let's go then, we will just go out back and turn, ok?!" Evander said excitedly. 

After dinner we all went stripped and turned, Due had to be the one to show his face first and it was hard to control him as he wanted to mate and mark her right then and there. He went up to her standing over seven foot tall on two legs he just picked her up bridal style and nuzzled her, all the while he was purring like a damn cat. Dee was loving him he did not want to let her go, he just wanted to hold her like this forever. I had to force him to put her down so Pendragon could have his turn. 

It was sometimes hard to let them each have a turn to come forth but it would depend on what was happening. They actually helped heal each other and me and we would get the jobs done. 

Pend came forth and he was so in love with her, he let her get on him and he flew her around the sky like there was nothing to it. Pend is black with silver flakes through the underside of his wings. She was awe struck at how gorgeous he looked to her specially with his eyes. Dee asked if he could turn her so that they could fly together in the sky whenever they wanted too. She was in love and there was nothing stopping her heart. 

She felt the same with the Due and when they came down from their high, she looked at me with the same look she had with Due and Pend. She had tears of joy but sadness too. I took my thumbs and wiped them away. "What are the tears for princess?" 

"I am in awe, in love with all of you but I know I have to go back to my life in the States and do my job and take care of my mom. I want to be here with you all, all of you, but I have a life to live that is not here." 

She was torn and so was I, but I knew she wanted to stay. I had to find a way.
