Chapter 6

Evander

I arrived in Lapland, checked in where Dee was staying and got a cabin not far from where she was at. I got settled in and took a look around. I went by her cabin to see if she was there and it was empty. I took a gander around the perimeter checking on anything out of the ordinary. I did smell something different but not sure of the scent. Will look into it further and see what packs are here tomorrow. 

I need to go for a run let my other half out. He's been wanting out for a run for a while and hasn't had the opportunity in a long while. I let Gaylord come forth and take control and run through the forest. As Gaylord was running I could feel that eerie feeling something was off. I was being followed and I slowed down got a sense of my surroundings listened for any sounds that is not normal. Thank the goddess that lycans have a keen sense of smell, sight and can hear better than a werewolf. I looked around and could not see anything as it was pitch black. As I started to move very slow and quietly like a Navy Seal, I came upon a man who was getting ready to change, into what I did not know. I hunkered down and watched him shift, he had brilliant green eyes that turned red then back to green again as he looked around. 

I hid my sent so he could not smell me.I let him run ahead a few meters and snuck to where his clothes laid and sniffed them, rogue. I quickly changed back to my human to see if there was anything left behind that I could get ahold of to tell me who this person was. There was not anything I or my brothers could go on, except one thing. He had her picture, couldn't he have any other picture but her? 

Damn, this is not setting well with me. I let Gaylord have control and followed him to see where he went, I caught him right looking into Dee's cabin to see if she was there. I walked around to the other side and saw her walking with some of her friends, she was telling them bye as they were departing ways but she was in trouble and did not know it. I had to warn her somehow but how could I warn her without scaring her. 

The only thing I could think was walking up to her grunting. She turned and looked me in the eyes. She smiled even though I am a huge animal I did not scare her, she was in awe of me. I did not know how to take it but she walked up to me slowly with her hand out cooing and talking to me. She was very kind and loving towards me, I moved my head into her hands and let her pet me. I nuzzled her but kept alert, I felt her stiffen a little and look behind her. 

"Shit, he's back." she said. She nuzzled and hugged me told me that she would take me in to her cabin if she could to scare that creep off but new she could not do it. I looked into her eyes and quizzically asked her to do so, I need to protect her I need to get in there and check the inside out. 

Dee kissed me on my nose and top of my head and turned to go in even though danger was lurking around the corner. I escorted her to the front door and stayed until she went in. I got a good look at the creeper who was being a peeping Tom now. He had those red eyes glowing then I heard a loud scream coming from inside I butted against the door and she came running opened the door I rushed past her and saw what she was screaming at. It was him looking in at her watching her starting to undress to get ready for bed. I ran back outside to run after the creeper but he was fast and I had lost him. I turned put my clothes back on took after him on human foot with my phone in hand texting Conall and Champ telling them I'd call them in an hour with information.
