Chapter 26

"Where are you taking me Elijah," Sarai  said in a surprising calm voice. "We need to talk outside of the city. I don't know who might be listening or who could be watching us".Solomon recently told Elijah that some wolf beastmen from the capital have been keeping tabs on Elijah's Dorm and Where he goes throughout the capital. So Elijah Elijah has been sneaking out in the morning to do his training. Elijah took Sarai just outside the city where he trained to increase his spiritual power. "I'm only going to ask you this once." said Elijah. "Do you have anyone following you right now?" Sarai  looked frightened out  a little but she was trying to hide it. "Now that I've gone outside the city my bodyguard is probably headed this way right now." Before Elijah could tell her to send them away they already arrived and was holding a dagger to Elijah's throat. "Alana stand-down He's my friend" Sarai shouted. The woman was in a dark robe but just from seeing her complexion and smell  Elijah knew she was a Cat Beastmen  with Nobel blood but not just any cat beastmen she was a cheetah. "You have about 3 secs to let your weapon down before I really start to get upset,'' said Elijah with a hand on his sword. "Elijah please let me handle this,'' Sarai said with worry in her voice. "Alana please stand down, like I said he's a friend." "Friends don't bring friends to secluded places Sarai." Alana Snapped back. Elijah broke free from her hold and drew his sword. "Sarai I know we just met and I really do like you but if you don't get her under control it's not going to end well for her. I have  enough people trying to kill me." Alana Starts to laugh. "Boy you are only at the peak of a Consumer rank   you're definitely not a match for me." Elijah does a fake laugh back. "Why don't you come here and find out." Elijah said with a grin. Before Elijah's next heart bit Alana was right in front of him kicking him right in the face sending him into the wall behind him. "My  goodness, that was an amazing kick." Solomon said from the mindscape. "She is definitely from the Cheetah Tribe." "Is it just me or does it seem like the only people that I have fought so far are women that  are a lot faster and stronger than me". Elijah said, complaining. "Kid this is the Contient of Pangea, Sex does not determine ones strength. Don't ever forget only the strong survive here." Solomon said. "Either way this time I'm Determined not to lose." While Alana had the knife around  Elijah's  neck he actually managed to use Void Consumption on the fly without Alana's notice. "That is a pretty neat little trick" said Solomon."But you're still no match for her in speed plus you don't even know what her beastmen class or level is yet.". Just before Elijah was about to make his counter attack Alana still covering her face with her robe made her weapon disappear then pulled out a bow and arrow  from her shadow under  her robe. Elijah had to admit that was pretty impressive. "You don't get out much do yea kid I'll have to scold that elder of yours for keeping you from the world." Said Solmon. Her bow was ebony black and when she pulled the bow string an arrow appeared. It was enchanted with a spirit gem. Elijah almost got an arrow to the head for admiring for too long. A barrage of arrows were heading in Elijah direction. If it wasn't for Elijah's speed boost from Void Consumption earlier he would be a corpse full of arrows. "You can't dodge forever," Solomon said. "Could you not try to coach me up right now? I'll let you know when I need it, Elijah replied. "Are you just going to keep doudging forever little kitten?" Lea shouted. "Kitten?!" Elijah replied. "Women don't you know a King when you see Him". Elijah focused his spiritual power into the blade of his sword and started cutting down the arrows instead of dodging them. After finally catching onto the pattern of  the arrows coming he used that half second to break away from her line of fire and launch his counter attack. "Precision coat slash" Elijah said to himself.Two slashes that made a "X" head straight for Alana. By the time it made contact with her she already made a new weapon appear to slash Elijah's attack way. As soon as she recovered Elijah had already covered the distance between them and had his sword at her neck. "This round belongs to me, yield". Elijah said with authority. Her face finally revealed after taking off her hooded robe. She had long black hair braided, thick Cornrows with hair jewel in them. Her eyes were light green. If she wasn't trying to kill me Elijah thought he might have asked her out on a date. Alana made a disgusting face at Elijah and before Elijah could say anything Sarai  Stepped in. "Are you done testing him?" She said. "If it wasn't for Elijah compassion just now he could have claimed your life." Sarai  Stepped closer to Alana and got directly in her face and said. "Don't you ever disobey a direct order from me again." Then Alana quickly fell to the ground, got on one knee and said "forgive me princess." Which really made Elijah feel awkward. But then he thought Sarai  was giving off some major Queen vibes. "WAIT PRINCESS" Elijah said confused."A better topic at hand is when in the hell did you master the base coat and precision coat?". Elijah Smiled. "I had a lot of time to practice". "It hasn't even been that long though." Solomon replied. "If you keep moving at the rate skills will definitely surpass your beastmen level almost 10 Fold with your techniques alone. Alana walks over to Elijah with Sarai  right behind her. With a very embarrassed look on her face she says "I apologize I shouldn't have tested you the way that I did. Sarai  spoke highly of you but I had my doubts but clearly she knows how to pick them well. Elijah peaked his head around Alana to look at Sarai. "You not only spoke about me but you Spoke about me Highly?". Sarai  starts to blush. "Why did you bring me out here anyways?" Sarai  says trying to change the subject. Elijah looked back at Alana then back again at Sarai . "How much do you trust this woman?" "Alana?" With   My life she is my sorn sister Sarai  said. "I ask because what I'm About to tell you is not only the biggest secret of mine but of my entire tribe and clan." "Kid what are you doing?" Solomon said with Concern. "She was bound to find out anyways,'' Elijah said in the mind scape. "You were right about me so I'm just going to tell you the whole truth right now". Elijah said to Sarai . "I'm right about what?" Sarai  said with a puzzling look on her face. Before Elijah could say another word Alana Punched Elijah in the face. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Solomon said from Alana's body. "Are you crazy you don't know where her allegiance lies and you're going to tell her your greatest secret? Which like you stated earlier can hold the fate of your entire Clan and tribe, maybe even all of Pangea." "Why are Alana's eyes glowing and why does she sound like a man?" Sarai said. Solomon in Alana's body turns and Says "high sweetheart I'm Elijah Master and Mentor. I don't know if we can trust you yet but the secrets he wants to reveal to you are dangerous." Before Solomon could say another word  Elijah snached Solmon out of Alanas's body. "Sorry about that my master has trust issues." Elijah said. Alana fainted but Elijah caught her before she hit the ground. Elijah then layed her back on the nearest tree. "Your Master is that powerful of a Spirit to take control of Alana like that? He must have been pretty powerful while he was alive." Sarai said surprised. "Yea he was,'' Elijah replied. "I consider you as a  friend and eventually I do want something more with you so that's why I'm going to tell you what I'm about to tell you." Elijah says. "Before you do that I have to let you know I am already Engaged to someone." Sarai says as she looks away. "Do you love him?" Elijah asked nervously ? "No?!" she quickly replied. "Then that's all i need to know for now". "Man that sucks,'' Elijah said to himself. "It's an arranged marriage I have no say in the matter. I understand Elijah said swallowing his emotions". "It's still not going to change the fact how i feel or what i'm about to tell you." Elijah exhaled. "I am a legendary beastmen. My Complete beastmen form is the Genesis lion. That's why my  parents had to put this tattoo on my  back". It was quiet for a few seconds. Elijah could tell that Sarai  was shocked. "So that's why your parents secluded you for so long." Sarai said. "That's not all. I have two class systems as well the first one you know about but the second one is Void Shadowwalker." Elijah said as he gathered shadow power in his hands. For a full minute Sarai  didn't blink. "You're probably one of the most amazing person I've ever met." "Your mere existence is a threat to every throne on the continent." This went on for several minutes. Then she finally stopped and asked Elijah a question. "Why would you trust me with such a heavy secret?" Elijah smiled, looked Into Sarai 's eyes and Said "because you didn't look at me differently when you realize I couldn't transform most people when they find out, look at me like I'm trash and have bad beastmen blood, you didn't do that with me. When I first saw you I knew I wanted you as my  woman but the more I get to know you the more I know I want you as my Queen." Sarai started to blush. When she finally managed to get a word out she said. "Come home with me!" She said loudly. "Ugh I don't really do that kinda stuff still marriage." Elijah said awkwardly. "Plus your uncle can definitely kill me with  like one punch." "No, I mean to my  home country. You can officially claim me your woman there and have a chance to become King." I can't do that, at least not now." Elijah said with disappointment in his voice. "This country owes too much to me and my  people for me to just leave. That's exactly what they probably want." " Well I can't stay here forever now that I am of age my  father will come back to get me." Sarai  said with her voice cracking. "What do you mean." Elijah replied? "My father will be here for the ranking tournament. Once he goes back I have to go with him." Then it looks like i have no choice but to go with you." As soon as the words left Elijah lips. Sarai  wrapped herself around Elijah and gave him a hug...
