Chapter 30
That morning after eating breakfast Elijah and Sarai  headed to the Ruin deeper into the Foxes territory while Alana stayed at the camp. They wore all black clothing and hid their faces. [Normally you would wait for nightfall but they were on a tight schedule]. They finally arrived at the hill where they could see the entrance to the ruin. "I'm going to set up the mind link". Said Elijah. "Can you hear me, Elijah?" Sarai  replied. "Yea where good". "Alright kidos before we jump the gun, me and Elijah will scoop the place out before we go inside." Said Solomon. "Why? We know what's in there and no one ever goes in." replied Elijah. "Out of all the things I teach you there is one thing that you have to remember, you can NEVER Be too CAREFUL. Double check triple check then check again". Said Solomon. "Alright   My goodness." said Elijah. "Will be right back I guess." "I'll still be here, don't worry,'' said Sarai . Elijah starts to project himself. They fly the same route they took last time and everything did seem the exact same. "Have you learned to use the Phantom shadow-walker power yet?" asked Solomon. Elijah made a face. "No, I kinda was doing my own thing". Solomon slaps his own face. "The phantom powers would be the most useful right now for this job. How could you just overlook it?" "I really wanted to be different. You know, unpredictable." Elijah said with confidence. "So you're just going to carry the spear sword out of here when you could have put it in your phantom zone." Elijah makes a face. "We should have just brought along the cheetah lady if this was going to happen. She would have been in and out in a flash." "I get it." Elijah said, complaining. "That really wasn't a smart move, Love". Sarai said from the mindscape. "Alright it wasn't, I'll  learn it before we go back to the capital." "I hope so, can't just be walking around with a bad*** weapon like this." Said Solomon. They arrived at the coffins and the skeleton was still holding the spear. "See what I tell you, now let's go get this and get out of here." Elijah instantly transports back to his body. "Alright let's go". Elijah said to Sarai. They enter through the main hall and head to where the spear is located.  As they're walking through. Sarai says. "You know this seems a little too easy." "What did she just say?" Solomon said. Sarai tries to continue. I said this seems way to eas-." "No I heard you, I just can't believe you said that." Solomon replied, cutting her off.  "While walking through an old ruin. (Old to us not you Elijah and Sarai  both thought) That's literally the thing that's said right before a whole lot of bad things happen." Solomon says dramatically. "Nothing is going to happen. We didn't see anything or anyone in this ruin." Elijah said.  "Ohh you definitely wouldn't, that's why they call us the unseen." Said a voice from the distance. Then out of nowhere two slim figures appear behind Sarai and Elijah. They  both were In White ninja robes covering their faces. The one on the left took in a deep breath through their nose and said. "Cat beastmen? And young too? What brought you here? Are you grave robbers?" "For the sake of argument you could call us that today." Elijah said. With his hand on his sword. "Not good, what should we do? we can't let them know why we're here or we're even here in the first place". Elijah said in the mindscape. "If we can't knock them out we'll have to kill them." Sarai  replied. "Wow this woman cut to the chase but she is right. Sorry I should have predicted that, ninjas always seem to get the drop on me every single time." Solomon said. Solomon lied, he knew that they were here. From the very first time he and Elijah came here he just wanted to see if Elijah would have  the resolve in making a decision to kill them or not. "Clearly this young princess has seen a thing or two, she will definitely make a fine queen one day." Solomon thought to himself. "So grave robbers, the one on the right begins to talk. "Now what made you choose this ruin in particular? Could there be a trease here that we don't know about?" "Where here for jewelry and gold were not scholars looking for hidden treasure." Sarai said. "Why are you here guarding such a crappy little ruin anyways?" "These little kittens are talking to us kinda bold when they're not even at the  Consumer  rank yet although they do seem pretty strong for their age. "Kittens? Elijah replied, "Fox lady, you haven't even met a real man until now. You can either let us go about our business or become our business." Elijah said sternly. (Note: beastmen can smell what gender and race Each Other are from the moment they come in contact.) "I'm just going to  blitz them,'' Elijah said from the mindscape. "I got your back King, be careful." Sarai  replied. "He's definitely a lion beastmen with that kinda pride,'' the one on the left said. Before the next breath Elijah already activates void consumption to increase his speed and blitz both the female ninjas. round house kicking the one on the right in the face sending her flying then grabbing the other one by the throat lifting her off the ground. "I'll  choose for you, you just became our business." Elijah said left her off the ground. "Bastard!" The male ninja Elijah was holding by the neck, yelled. "Oh this one is actually a guy, I still won't take back my comment you probably haven't seen a real man either. The male ninja quickly made a stabbing motion with his hand even though it appeared empty. Elijah managed to catch his wrist but Elijah felt a knife go into his side a little. It was enough to make him loosen his grip. He broke free of Elijah's hold and did a backflip off of Elijah's chest and disappeared in mid air. Elijah had to admit that he was impressed. "Why couldn't I see his weapon?" Elijah said in the mindscape. "They can make things invisible along with their body, '' Solomon replied. "Sarai would be more suitable as their Opponent, she is more agile and her abilities would put her at an advantage." "I'll never let my  women fight unless it's Necessary or if she wants to. I'll fight a whole army before I let her lift a finger." Elijah replied. Elijah activated his Anubis eyes to find the Vixen ninja. They were both in the corner regrouping. "Trying to make a plan, nope not happening." Elijah said as he let out a barrage of spirit sword slashes in their direction. Both of them quickly dodged out of the way. One of them in a fit of rage removed her mask and revealed her face. She had hair so black it looked purple and her eyes slanted a little. She was definitely a fox beastmen with a noble bloodline. "There clearly are not amateurs, we can't take them lightly,'' she says as she starts to transform. Her hair starts to turn orange and her hands grow claws. When her eyes opened again they were dark red like fire. "Did you really just let her transform?" Sarai said. Elijah turned around and said "I haven't seen that many people actually do it, especially fox beastmen." Sarai shakes her head in disappointment. "She's definitely at the Peak of Consumer level, she transformed in 11 seconds. Real Combat is the ultimate test of true strength. Let's see if you can keep up with the speed of these fox beastmen." Solomon said to himself. "Foolish boy you or her will never see daylight again.'' The female fox Beastmen said as she rushed Elijah. Before she could close enough to Elijah, he sent more spiritual slashes in her direction. With her Speed it looked like it went right through her without even phasing her. She then punched Elijah in the stomach and held him in the air with her sword on his throat. Before she could detach Elijah's head from his neck, Elijah's body evaporated with nothing but black vaper left behind. "Damn a clone,'' she roared. "No, not exactly." Elijah said, standing behind her. "It's a flicker clone or after image some might say if you were fast enough you would have seen me make the slip." Before she could turn around Elijah hit her with the bottom of Elijah sword knocking her out. "Sarai, could you restrain her for me?" "No problem" she said as vines from the ground  began to wrap around the female fox beastmen. This time Elijah looked directly at her partner standing in the corner. I had a feeling you could see me, he said, making himself visible. You're a lot more seasoned than your partner then I'm guessing? he smiles. You could say that the women of our clan look down on the men so they over reach sometimes. I couldn't tell if you were holding back or not when you were facing her. She underestimated you. I knew you didn't let her transform for no reason. I won't make the same mistake."
