The Tidesinger laid in his bed at night, pondering about the situation at hand. Rain tapping against his window as he got up and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. He went over the kitchen sink and poured the water into the paper cup he grabbed. The light over the sink flickered on as Achillean jolted his head over to the switch.

"Can't sleep?" Zulius asked, standing next to the switch, leaning over the kitchen island.

"Something tells me it's worse for you." Achillean replied, Zulius puffed his chest and for the first time, Achillean noticed his burn.

"What happened there?" He pointed to the mark, the burn darkened his markings and left his skin to be darker than the normal gray.

"A scar to remind me of my failure." Zulius said, walking along the kitchen isle. Achillean knew exactly he was talking about, and instead of continuing it wanted to comfort Zulius.

"You have to stop blaming yourself for something you couldn't stop, if what you say is true and you did fight Ingressus, you're lucky the masters were the only ones killed." Achillean said, Zulius smashed his arm against the marble countertop. Achillean shushed him because he didn't want Aegus to wake up.

"If I did, the Masters might've escaped and my brother might still be alive!" Zulius whispered loudly and angrily.

"Don't let the weight of those who died for you to be here bring you down, keep moving forward, and avenge their deaths... and after this war, we can celebrate their legacies." Achillean said, waving his arm in the air as if he was describing a dream.

"That's the difference between you 3 and me, you see through dreams... I see through reason, through facts and probability." Zulius said, Achillean drank the last of his water, then filled the cup back up.

"Is fact not just... someone's dream put into place?" Achillean asked, Zulius thought he was crazy, but he pondered over this claim.

"Say we do win this war Achillean, what will you do, where will you go?" Zulius asked, Achillean thought for a moment but before he could speak, Zulius continued.

"You know the Walls of Time more than anyone... so you know what happens to the Deathsinger and the Tidesinger at the end of the Great War." Zulius said, Achillean's eye brows descended, what was Zulius trying to say.

"Are you trying to foreshadow my death for your reasoning?" Achillean asked, he thought this was rather rude and inconsiderate.

"I am saying that fate will soon be upon you, and your brother." Zulius said, this angered Achillean, he crushed the paper cup and threw it at Zulius, Zulius caught it. Achillean stood upright and spoke.

"Then maybe fate isn't the way to go."

"You can't just deny fate." Zulius reminded, throwing the cup away.

"Watch me."

Varek arrived in the End, Hadion was waiting for him at the entrance of the portal.

"How's your team? I heard word from Northwind that you retook Mendoria and are fighting the final battle tomorrow at the land around Mt. Velgrin." Hadion said, Varek shook his head.

"We're fine, just nervous, is all." Varek said, Hadion pat him on the back and comforted him.

"That Ingressus just got lucky in the tournament, you could-"

"He nearly killed me Hadion, and now he has the Prime Songs..." Varek tried to speak facts but Hadion saw nothing but good things for Varek's future.

"Well now instead of everyone fighting each other, you and your friends will be fighting him 4v1. It should be an easy victory if you work together properly." Hadion said as he and Varek entered the throne room, King Rendor sitting in the throne.

"Father, I didn't expect you at this hour." Varek kneeled, Hadion just crossed his arms.

"Rise, my son."

"How can I be of service?" Varek asked, King Rendor stood up, leaving his sword at his throne.

"No service, I would just like to converse with my son before we enter the final fight tomorrow." He said, putting his arms on Varek's shoulders. King Rendor was a giant compared to him.

"We? You're going to accompany me?" Varek asked, King Rendor and Hadion both laughed.

"Are you serious? It's the final battle of the war! You're going to need everyone, and you're going to get everyone." Hadion stated as Varek smiled.

"Anyways, children, there is a high chance that we encounter the royal family of the Nether, I want to see one of you, or Calian, bring me Pythus' head." King Rendor said as Hadion stomped his foot.

"For Uron." He said.

"For Uron." King Rendor repeated, he stomped his foot, the stomp echoed throughout the hall. Another figure entered the room.

"For Uron." Calian said, joining the group.

"I may not be as much of assistance to you as I will be for Crown Peak." Calian reminded, King Rendor nodded with acceptance.

"I am aware, and I am fine with that, either way I'm sure you will be as valuable an asset for them as you are us." He said, walking away.

"Calian, with me, we have much to discuss after your armor was roughed up in your last battle." King Rendor said as Calian jogged up to him, they left the room.

"Are you going to be okay?" Hadion asked, Varek nodded as his armor flickered.

"I don't know what I'd do without your support, Hadion." Varek said, Hadion waved his arm in front of him.

"Don't mention it, now get some rest, we both will need it, brother." Hadion said, hugging Varek.

"I will see you at dawn." Varek said, walking to his quarters.

"I am going to find a home for you... you will bring peace to our clans, hybrid." Thalleous said while holding the clanless child, rain trickling down onto his rain cloak. He rode to Sendaria to find someone to take the child in.

He entered Sendaria and got off of his horse. When Thalleous looked around for Ardoni and presented them with the child, he was having no luck. He wanted to give up, and return the child to Aegus, until a voice called from behind him.

"Thalleous! How are you my friend?" Osivian yelled as thunder clapped.

"Let us talk inside."

Thalleous entered Osivians hut and ripped his rain cloak off of his body. The light cloak floated down onto the stone counter. He placed the child on the cold counter, the child shivered.

"I have come to Sendaria, with a request." Thalleous said, picking the child back up and handing him to Osivian.

"I... don't know, Thalleous." Osivian questioned, Thalleous was begging on his knees at this point and wouldn't take no for an answer.

"No one I know can take this child into a home, and I don't want to leave Master Aegus with him, he's been through enough." Thalleous said, Osivian contemplated and comforted the child.

"Varek, Achillean, and Zulius travel too much to care for him, and no one around Sendaria will accept him." Thalleous tried to guilt trip Osivian.

"Why is he clanless?" Osivian asked, Thalleous looked down for a moment, he needed to lie.

"I went to an invaded village and found the parents dead, this child is the only one who survived." Thalleous lied, he didn't want to reveal that the child was a Voltaris, despite the fact of his known hate for that clan. It was Huro's dying wish and he knew not to disobey it. Osivian finally came with an answer, he wrapped the child in a blanket.

"I will take the child as my own... I will raise him and care for him... the light of hope for Sendaria... I will name him after the clan... Senn."
