WE BEGIN WALKING down the chilly hallway, I keep my distance from the man, even though I feel strangely comfortable with him, much more comfortable than when I was with Jane. I still can't stop thinking of last night.
I finally build up enough courage to speak, "What's your name?" He obviously already knows mine.
"Aro." He answers.
The questions begin flowing out after that,"Where am I? And how is Meredith still alive, how am I still alive? I saw people getting killed by-"
Aro stops me, "Your answers will be answered soon, Isadora."
"Am I gonna die?" I halt to a stop, feeling stupid at how easily I fell into this trap.
The man swiftly turns on his heel, his expression was almost pained—I suddenly feel guilty, "Do not fret, I will not kill you—no one will." He says reassuringly, I immediately feel at ease.
I exhale and nod, I begin walking again.
We soon come to a stop in front of a large set of mahogany doors, they look too heavy for anyone to push open—but Aro does it, he holds one door open for me with one arm, I walk past him, the door soon closes and hes next to me again.
I gasp as I look up, thousands off bookshelves stand before me, there are stairs leading up to a balcony that hold even more bookshelves, I run my fingers along the spines of books as I pass by. "Amazing." I mutter to myself, or so I thought.
"Truly." A deep airy voice says from behind me.
I jump and a loud gasp leaves my lips, I place a hand on my chest and spin around. Two other men have joined by Aros side, each of them watch me with amusement planted on their faces. The same snap from last night happens again—twice.
"You scared her." A man with fair hair leans over towards the man who, I assume, spoke only a few seconds ago, his voice holds a bit of fury to it.
These two men are just as breathtaking as Aro, alabaster skin, bright red eyes, perfectly placed features. The only difference is their hair, one had fair, wavy hair, the other has long, straight brown hair.
I clear my throat, "Hi." My voice is slightly shaky, my cheeks flush in embarrassment.
"Good afternoon, Isadora." The fair haired man greets, I like the way my voice rolls off of his tongue just as much.
"Isadora." The other man greets.
I smile at both of them, my cheeks heat up again.
