"ARE YOU SURE you know how to cook?" Caius asks for, what seems like, the hundredth time as I stir the noodles in the boiling water.

I sigh and nod my head, "Yes, Caius." Even if him asking these questions is slightly annoying—I kind of find it cute, he worries about me.

"Okay, just making sure." He says.

I can still feel him watching me closely.

"Marcus?" I spin around to face the two of them with one eyebrow raised.

"Yes, amore?"

"Can you please tell Caius that I am a great cook?" I glance at Caius who has his arms crossed, watching me intently.

Marcus nods and turns his attention towards Caius.

"Brother, Isadora is a wonderful chef." I smile smugly at Caius after Marcus finishes talking.

Caius rolls his eyes and leans against the island, arms still crossed, "Continue then." He waves with one hand.

"Drama queen." I mumble under my breath, turning back towards the stove.

I can hear Caius scoff from behind me, along with a laughing Marcus.

The pasta is now done boiling, I turn the knob and carry the pot to the large sink, draining the steaming water. I pour the noodles into a bowl along with some sauce.

I go to pick the bowl up, but Caius grabs it before I can, which I don't complain about, because I hate carrying burning hot bowls anywhere, it's always a hassle trying to find the correct spot to hold the bowl.

I follow after him to the table that Aro is sat at, Marcus behind me.

Caius places the bowl down at a spot next to where he sits, as I sit down, I can see Aro and Marcus glaring at him.

"Sorry, bothers." Caius hands his pale hands up in mock surrender.

"So, you guys are brothers?" I've heard them call each other 'brother' a few times now.

I twirl some spaghetti around my fork and hold it up to my mouth, blowing on it before shoveling it into my mouth while I waited for one of them to answer.

"We are soul siblings." My gaze moves to Marcus as he answers.

"Soul siblings?" I raise my eyebrows.

Marcus nods, "We are not related by blood but connected by souls."

"I'm sure we have known each other long enough to be considered real siblings." Caius says, earning a long, exasperated sigh from Aro.

"How long have you known each other?" I place some more pasta into my mouth after asking.

All three share a look and Marcus places his hand in Aros—something else I've noticed Caius and Marcus do a lot—After a few seconds, Marcus pulls his hand away.

"Around three millennia." Aro answers.

"Three millennia? As in thousand?" My eyes pop open.

"I told you we shouldn't have told her, Aro." Marcus rolls his eyes. "As in thousand, Isadora, yes." Marcus nods.

"So- you—" I pause, trying to thinking of what to say.

"Are you okay, cara?" Caius grabs my free hand, "see what you did Aro!" He hisses.

"Just slightly... shocked." I blink. "And don't blame Aro, I asked." I add.

Aro sends Caius a smug look.

"You two act like children rather than ancient vampires." I shake my head.

"That is exactly what I say." Marcus chuckles.

I smile up at him, pushing my empty bowl away from myself.

"This doesn't make you feel any differently about us, does it?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowed and hands clasped in front of him.

I look at all three of them, does it? I mean, I don't feel weirded out sitting right next to them, and the happiness is definitely still here.

"No." I answer with a smile.

They all seem to relax, and I can hear a relived sigh from one of them.

The doors to the kitchen suddenly bang open and someones fast footsteps can be heard against the floor.

Demetri soon comes around the corner with a little smile on his face. He bows right as he comes to a stop.

"Demetri, why must you interrupt us?" Caius growls.

"Miss Isadora is needed in her sisters room." Demetri informs, his smile growing larger.

I groan, "What'd you do now?"

He stammers for a few seconds before sighing, "Meredith has requested your presence." He says formally.

I roll my eyes and stand up. I smile at the kings before stepping away from the chair, "I had a great time, thank you."

I follow Demetri out of the kitchen.

ARO, CAIUS, AND MARCUS watch as Isadora exits the kitchen with Demetri, feeling upset that their time was cut short with her.

"I'm going to tell her soon—she deserves to know." Aro says, referring to his gift.

"You should have told her already, Aro." Caius shakes his head at his brother.

Aro sighs, "I know."

"When do you plan on telling her? She leaves in only two days." Marcus asks, frowning at the reminder of Isadoras leaving.

"Perhaps tonight." Aro answers, suddenly becoming nervous, worrying at how she may react.

"How do you think she'll react?" Caius asks.

"Hopefully, the same way she did to our age." Aro answers. Though, he knows they are completely different.

"Well," Caius says, standing up, "good luck." Then, hes gone.

Marcus leaves soon after, only sending Aro a polite nod.

Aro takes an unnecessary deep breath and taps his fingers on the expensive table.
