"Off with a 'bang'" ~~ Marauders Story

Platfrom 9 and 3/4 and an Attack

Lily's POV

   Lily walked down the busy train station, moving past a few groups of men, women and kids chatting amongst themselves, some of them even on a call with their friends and relatives. Why was she alone this time? Because her parents were really busy with all the work this year, so she did them a favour and apparated with her luggage into a nearby empty alleyway instead.

   She smiled to herself, she would be going back to Hogwarts with her friends and Petunia won't be there to call her a freak any more as she was going to move out once term ended. Though, sadly it would be her last year, no longer would she see the ghosts roaming around, no longer would she see the magical paintings and no longer would she be able to sit in the Great Hall and talk to her friends freely.

   After all, Voldemort, or You-Know-Who as he's called, is on the rise for power and the First Wizarding War has just begun. She sighed to herself, pushing her trolley and moving in between platforms 9 and 10. She moved through the barrier and entered platform 9 and 3/4, all while thinking how Muggles never noticed this small thing. She then smiled once more before climbing onto the train, moving into a compartment with Marlene and waved her wand, lifting the luggage and placing it neatly in the space.

   "So...how are you?" She asked smiling at her friend, Marlene then spoke up "Everything's been...perfect I guess" She was smiling back as Lily sat down "Any good news?" "Well — erm- me and Sirius are dating- so that's a first" the redhead's eyes widened as she smiled even more "Really?! Wow!" She exclaimed as the dirty blonde chuckled "Mhm, my family lives a few meters away from the Potters so we were able to meet, oh and you'd never guess who Head Boy is" Marlene smirked as Lily spoke up again "It's Remus, it's obvious as hell" She said smugly "No it's-"

   The train suddenly stopped as the lights went off, Lily and Marlene held onto their seats as they were nearly  launched from the sudden stop "What the bloody hell?!" Marlene complained as the two girls looked around, the glass was starting to frost and everything started to get darker "Marls, follow me, we need to group with a few others" Lily had said while running out the door, Marlene close behind.

James' POV

James ran across the train hall with Sirius, Remus and Peter. Checking compartments to make sure the other students were safe. His shiny Head Boy badge shining softly in the dark. They soon ran into Lily and Marlene, who had brought Alice with them. Lily looked at each single one of then as James saw her eyes stay on his chest, staring at the golden badge "You?! Head Boy?!? What was Dumbledore thinking?!?!" He chuckled at this reaction "Not the best revelation of the century Lils" His expression then turned back into a serious one, his eyes flickered to his side from hearing a small, cold, shaky breath.

There it stood, a Dementor, reaching it's bony arms at him. James, with the training of 7 years of Quiditch, had hastily evaded, pulling out his wand and yelling
"Expecto Patronum!"
A stag then leaped out as it shone in the dark, the Dementor then let out a small hiss as it glided out of the train "Wow, a Corporeal Patronus! That's advanced" Lily had said as James pulled his signature smirk "Thank you Evans" He bowed dramatically "I appreciate the conpliment" They all had laughed slightly at this as James checked if everyone was here, well — everyone was, everyone except Remus of course "Where's Moony?" He asked as Sirius spoke up "In the 3rd Year corridors; he went to check on them" James nodded at this as they all searched for more Dementors.

Remus' POV

   Remus had been staying in a 3rd Year compartment with 3 people inside when a Dementor showed up, he blocked it's path as he spoke bravely "None of us here are in the mood to get our souls taken, so leave at once" He said as the Dementor still reached out it's hand, but Remus was quicker, he had pulled out his wand and said almost loudly
"Expecto Patronum!"
Instead of a large wolf, which was his original Patronus Form, a shield blocked them from the creature and pushed it away. The Dementor hissed as well as it exited the train also. Remus then turned around to look at each student.

   Most of them were shaking from fear, he spoke up "It's fine, I'm Remus Lupin, a 7th Year Prefect, it's alright now, have this chocolate to help you lot recover, I'll take my leave now" He said as he exited the door. Looking to see if the driver and the rest of the students in the compartments by the corridor were ok. After checking, they were fine by the way, then headed to where his friends were "I assume everything's ok here?" The prefect asked "Yep, just a single Dementor" Peter replied as Remus nodded at him.

Remus sighed to himself as the train seemed to have started again, the lights flickering on as he checked his watch "Hmm, James, Lily, come on, the meeting starts within 5 minutes" He said as the two shared glances before nodding at the greyish-ash blonde and following him.

James' POV

   A few people looked twice at James, why was he here? Or better yet, how was HE Head Boy? Had Dumbledore gone nuts?! They then looked at Lily and a few shared glances slightly, they definitely knew what the Headmaster was up to.

   "Erm, so everyone! Welcome to our first meeting of the year" Lily exclaimed with a smile as he spoke up "Carrying on, we're going to pair you according to my schedule right here, I'll all give you copies of your schedules just incase you lot forget about it, it's a dangerous place, and the Dementor Attack proved it more" He said as the redhead looked at him; James Potter prepared? Was he trying to impress her or something? If so then it was working. She smiled at him softly as he glanced back at the Prefects, he spoke up again "Now then, here's the list..."

Severus Snape - Avery II= Monday (7:00pm to 9:00pm)

Remus Lupin - Elizabeth Anderson = Tuesday (8:00pm to 12:00am)

Mark Wood - Daniel Smith = Wednesday (7:45pm to 1:00am)

Alex Flint - Regulus Black = Thursday (9:00pm to 2:00am)

Arthur Weasley - Molly Prewett = Friday (7:00pm to 10:00pm)

James Potter - Lily Evans = Saturday (8:57pm to 11:00pm)

Andromeda Black - William Rack = Sunday (8:30pm to 9:45pm)

Once James finished, he gave out the schedules to each student "Now then! That concludes our meeting, I hope to see improvement within all of you this year, this is our last so make the most of it, after all; even some of us" He winked at Remus with a small smirk "Are planning to go off with a 'bang'" He said as he calmly left.
