~Tale As Old As Time~

A/N: Heyo! Welcome to this new one-shot! I know I haven't written much in this one, but here's a new one! This is a belated birthday present for my girlfriend (@InkyCipher1496). I hope everyone enjoys it!!

PS: The ship in this book is InkyWolf (our ship xp). And there will be some Banana Bus Squad members thrown in here and there! (Or at least people named after BBS members) Along with some of my friends.

~Many Years Ago~

It was a dark and stormy night. The rain was coming down, and the thunder/lightning crackled and boomed loudly. There was a castle outside of the village and inside that castle lived a royal being. His name was Kyle Wolfe, he had black hair and blue eyes.

There was a knock on the castle door and outside in the storm stood a very old woman. She was bundled up in heavy clothes, having braced the storm.

"Please sir... May I seek shelter inside your warm castle, at least until the storm passes?" The elderly woman spoke.

Kyle narrowed his eyes, "No, get lost now." He begun to close the door.

However, he stopped upon hearing the female start laughing. It was almost an insane laughter. The female looked at the male who declined her and her appearance begun to change. She was becoming younger looking and soon it was clear as to who she actually was. She was a local 'wizard' who had disguised herself as a defenseless, elderly woman, to test the male inside the castle.

Kyle begun to profusely apologize to her, however it was no use. She begun conjuring up a spell, and begun to cast a curse on the castle and anyone inside of it, including the male with black hair. The curse especially changed the male, it changed him into a beast like creature. His appearance changed into that of a huge wolf-type being.

He wailed out in pain as his body was transformed into that of a beast. And, before the woman left, she smirked and turned towards the transformed male, pulling out one red rose.

"If you do not find true love by your 21st birthday, you will remain a beast for the rest of your life~" She said, leaving the rose with the male, before finally parting ways.

After that, Kyle locked himself away in the palace, hidden himself away, having fallen into despair. For who could ever love a beast?

***

~Present Day~

The village illuminated with the sunlight as one female, with red hair and a light green dress, headed into the town of the village. She was heading into town to grab some supplies for her siblings and to return a book she had borrowed. She had hoped that she wouldn't run into the local huntsmqn named Tyler Wilde. You see, both of these two would pester her every time she came upon them, pestering her with flirtatious comments, that is.

However, Shannon's hope of not running into him was quickly crushed as she saw him at the same place she was heading to.

"Oh hey Shannon~" Tyler growled a bit, trying to be seductive/flirtatious.

Shannon rolled her eyes and sighed, "Yeah, hello Tyler." She grumbled and begun to walk inside.

Tyler begun to follow the female, and it was getting on her last nerve. She turned around and looked at him in his eyes.

"Look Tyler, I've got a ton of stuff to do today, so can you just leave me alone?" Shannon sighed.

After that, she didn't speak with him anymore as she dropped off what she needed to and then left. Then she finished up the rest of her errands.
